My spotted begonia has a leaf starting to do this… a keg before this had done this and I thought it was just getting old but it’s withered and then popped itself off. However now this one has started to dark and crumble. The other leaves are in perfect t condition. Please help 🥲 I make sure she is watered and has humidity. My monstera next to it is thriving..
I have a really strange Cosmos plant. I had multiple cosmos that were planted back in mid to late March. They are growing really well, but one plant has not grown any more leaves aside from its seed leaves. It doesn’t appear to have any leaves that are going to come from the middle of the stem. Is this a mutation?
Wish me luck on reviving this dumb cane. It was once full and healthy then the leaves started to yellow and fall off. Idk what happened. Hoping I can bring it back to life. I repotted it in a new pot with new soil.🤞🏼🙏🏼
Hello! From afar my plant looks great but once you get close, there is a soft fur??? Should I be concerned. 😧
I bought this plant about 3-4 weeks ago, and have had issues with it ever since. At first, there was a few browning spots on the leaves, which I knew was manageable. When I got it home, I noticed there was snails in the soil and spider mites. I kept the plant isolated up till about last week, repotted, and scrubbed pot. While I got rid of the pests, I’ve noticed the plant has been increasingly browning. I’ve barely watered it, maybe once since repotting last week. So I’m not sure if it’s underwatered, or poor choice of soil on my end. I went with a chunky aroid soil. I also had an issue where some of the leaves got super soft around the edges, which i think led to browning. Can anyone give me advice? I paid a lot for this plant and am disappointed so far.
Can someone pleaseee help me with this monstera? I don’t know what’s happend to it but it’s in a big south window so it’s not a light issue.
Hi all. Can anyone please tell me what this white mouldy type substance is? Also is it something to be concerned about, if so how do I treat it? I have also seen it on roots and in the soil clinging onto bark and other organic matter (like white spider webs) when re-potting other plants. It doesn’t seem to affect the growth, although I could be mistaken. This is a particularly bad example. TIA.
Please tell me this is not scale!! I purchased a very mature dumb cane about a year ago and I believe it's always looked like this. I never thought twice about it because he's still thriving and is putting out alot of new leaves but he does drop leaves every now and then, or some turn yellow. I am a pretty new plant mom and have only recently learned about scale. None of my other plants seem to have it and it doesnt scrape off. Any and all advice is appreciated!
Does anyone know why my baby rubber plant is dying? I haven’t changed up my care in the slightest and in a month it went from growing tons of new leaves to all its leaves turning yellow and falling off. It gets a little window light and a grow light 12 hours a day. I’ve had it for over a year and haven’t changed its care once and it’s in a clear pot and its roots look great. If anyone has any insight into what’s wrong with it please share. Thank you!!
What is going on with my Swiss cheese plant?!?! I have had him a year and he has grown steadily and been propped multiple times. A few months ago he started to have leaves slowly turn yellow. It is only one or two at a time and then after they fall one to two more start dying. I haven’t really changed anything and he is still growing healthy new leaves. It often is the bigger leaves dying but sometimes ones not as old. Soil is not super bad I repotted about 6 months ago because he was outgrowing his pot. It’s regular with perrilite for increased drainage but it is exactly the same as he had before and I am watering per app. Not moved or had any light changes. Please help!

Best guesses on type of pest? I’ve seen 1-2 teeny tiny white somethings crawling around. Starting to use Captain Jack’s every couple of days.

I’ve had this beauty about a month and a half now. I was out of town for almost 3 weeks and today I noticed that the leaves have some brown spots on their edges. Is that due to inconsistent watering since I was gone for so long or something else entirely? She’s getting a good soak today, and I planned on repotting her as well since she is in the original pot, which I feel looks a little small for her. She’s putting out three brand new leaves, too, so I feel like she’s not in a super stressful situation, yet.
Hello 👋 This is Philly, my red philodendron. I've never really understood him but somehow he's nearly 3 and still alive. The bad news... in the last year he's lost all of his largest (bottom) leaves and about to lose another (see photo). I'd really like to understand why! Is the pot now too small? Sunlight? Confusingly, he's still growing new leaves although they're smaller and always higher up. For context, he was ok in my old flat but this has happened since we moved to a 4th floor flat with an east window. Thank you in advance
Hey yall! Everybody wave hi to Cinder the Philodendron Brasil :) she’s been having a slight change in behavior, which I’m getting a tiny bit concerned about. Her leaves have been folding a little more than usual, kind of curling on themselves but appear to be healthy and fine. I did cut a leaf about a week ago cause it got yellow and was dying. I wasn’t super worried because it was a tiny leaf at the very top and the rest of her seemed just fine. Although now one of her bigger base leaves is yellowing, and I would like to find the problem before any more of her suffers! If anybody knows what I can do, please let me know!
Hi friends! My Cuban oregano (Coleus amboinicus) is having problems! 1. Some young, small leaves are dying off 2. Both mature and young leaves are turning pale green or even light yellow I can’t figure out what the issue is! There are still new leaves growing all over the plant, which implies it isn’t totally dying… What should I do to help the plant? Any ideas? Thanks in advance! 💚
WHAT IS HAPPENING TO MY BABY? My monstera has been thriving for the past year in this spot in the window.. she was gorgeous and producing multiple large leaves. Recently (with no changes to my routine or environment) all of the bottom leaves have been turning yellow and falling off. In the picture you can see me holding all of the yellow leaves. Normally I would say, she’s done for, but there is a ton of new growing happening! However the first new growth it produced was very tiny, which you can see next to the big leaves in the picture. I’m assuming she’s putting all of her energy into all of this new growth, but why? Why is she making so many baby leaves, killing adult leaves, and the baby leaves are super tiny. Help!

I recovered this worse for wear siberian tiger alocasia from B&Q, any tips how to bring it back to life? There is some new growth coming through so I have faith! Repotted today and got rid of dying leaves/stems.
