I’ve had this beauty about a month and a half now. I was out of town for almost 3 weeks and today I noticed that the leaves have some brown spots on their edges. Is that due to inconsistent watering since I was gone for so long or something else entirely? She’s getting a good soak today, and I planned on repotting her as well since she is in the original pot, which I feel looks a little small for her. She’s putting out three brand new leaves, too, so I feel like she’s not in a super stressful situation, yet.

    I had something similar happen to mine, and in my case, it was sunburn. I placed her without paying attention to where the sun rose, and she was getting too much direct light.

      That was my next guess. She does get some direct first morning sunlight. I’ll move her away from that window and hopefully that will end the problem. Thank you!

    it sounds like you have her in too bright of a spot, and this also may be low humidity based on the brown bits being crispy and on the edges of the leaves. move her and mist regularly / put closer to the humidifier if you have one.!

    Hi, I don’t find these to be humidity sensitive - most plants that are sensitive do not have rigid leaves. This looks like it dried out too much and then it got water but some of the roots died off so it’s showing unhappy signs.

    Thank you all! She’s repotted, well watered and in a new space. She looks so much happier already. 😁
