These Referral Program Terms ("Referral Terms") govern the Planta Referral Program (the "Program") operated by Planta AB ("us", "we", or "our"). The Program lets eligible Planta users invite friends to Planta Premium and earn rewards when those friends become paying subscribers.
These Referral Terms supplement the Planta Terms and Conditions and the Planta Privacy Policy. In case of any conflict, these Referral Terms apply to the Program.
By participating in the Program, you agree to these Referral Terms.
To participate as a referrer, you must:
The Program is available in all regions where Planta is offered, subject to any local restrictions.
Each eligible user receives a unique referral link and a 6-character referral code (for example, getplanta.com/i/ELIN42). When you share your link or code with a friend ("Invited Friend"), and they sign up to Planta Premium through your link, you may earn a reward as described below.
Rewards depend on your account type at the time the Invited Friend converts to Planta Premium, and on whether you have access to Planta Market.
If you are eligible for Planta Market, your default reward is Market credit. If you are not eligible for Planta Market (outside the US, or on Android), you will instead receive free months of Planta Premium.
Planta Market availability may expand to additional regions and platforms in the future. If Planta Market becomes available to you, future qualifying referrals will earn Market credit. Rewards already credited as free months will not be converted.
Invited Friends receive 2 weeks of Planta Premium for free when they sign up through a valid referral link.
A referral qualifies for a reward only when all of the following are true:
Rewards are credited to your account after the Invited Friend's first paid month is completed. If an Invited Friend cancels or receives a refund during the first paid month, no reward will be issued. Cancellations or refunds after the first paid month do not affect rewards that have already been credited.
Rewards stack across multiple qualifying referrals and do not expire. Market credit and free Premium months have no cash value, are non-transferable, and cannot be exchanged for cash, refunded, or combined with any other credit or promotion not expressly offered by Planta.
The following are not permitted and may result in disqualification, removal of unearned and earned rewards (including rewards that have already been used), suspension, or termination of your Planta account:
We monitor Program activity for signs of fraud, abuse, or activity that violates these Referral Terms. Accounts that exceed 10 qualifying referrals in a calendar month may be subject to manual review, during which rewards may be temporarily withheld pending verification.
We reserve the right to investigate any account, hold or revoke rewards (including rewards that have already been used or applied), reverse Market credit balances, cancel free Premium months, and suspend or terminate accounts that we determine, in our sole discretion, have violated these Referral Terms or engaged in fraudulent or abusive activity.
You are solely responsible for any tax obligations that may arise from your participation in the Program. We do not provide tax advice.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Program, the reward amounts, or any part of these Referral Terms at any time, with reasonable prior notice when practicable. Changes apply to qualifying referrals that occur after the effective date of the change. Rewards already credited to your account are not affected by future changes.
If we materially change the reward amounts or the way rewards are earned, we will provide reasonable notice through the app, by email, or on this page.
We may terminate or suspend your participation in the Program at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including violation of these Referral Terms.
The Program is provided "as is". We do not guarantee that the Program will be available without interruption, that referral tracking will be error-free, or that any specific reward will be earned.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from or related to the Program is limited to the value of unredeemed rewards in your Planta account at the time the claim arises.
These Referral Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden, without regard to its conflict of law provisions, and any disputes will be handled in the same forum as set out in the Planta Terms and Conditions.
