Hello! From afar my plant looks great but once you get close, there is a soft fur??? Should I be concerned. 😧

    polka dot plants are often fuzzy, it's just part of them, but if it looks web-like or has a specific pattern i would worry about mold. it doesn't look like yours is mold though, just normal plant fuzz.

    this is normal, they are called trichomes and their purpose is to prevent herbivory from predators. it is a normal mechanical defense in many plant species 🙂
