Hi everyone! I was recently given what I believe to be a Prickly Pear Cactus to look after for a few months but it’s in really rough shape and I’m unsure the best course of action. Anyone have any suggestions? I don’t know if it’s under watered or why it’s so discolored. Thanks!

Hey guys! This is my first succulent it’s a little Cobweb houseleek and I was wondering if I should repot it in a little bit of a bigger pot or just leave it in the nursery pot? Also how often should I water it?

Hi friends! I recently received a (albeit very sickly) astrophytum/goats head cactus from a friend. He didn’t have the time to try and save him and wanted to see if I could give it a shot. Now I am not an expert by any means but I used Dr Planta to diagnose it and it thinks it’s scales (EEK). What do you guys think?
Did I just endanger the rest of my plants by bringing this one into the home? If so, how do I make sure they don’t get scales??
I tried to see if I could pull any of the reddish bits off and they don’t budge so I am hoping it is edema/discoloration. I don’t see any moving pests on there either.

I was just given this Christmas cactus as a gift. After doing some research I learned that there are Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas cactus and they are commonly confused with one another. Just wanted to check to make sure so I can take care of it properly. What kind do you guys think it is?

My first succulent. 😎
The app says it should be in a pot with drainage. Is that true? I plan to repot it when it gets bigger and figured I could do it then if that’s the case. 🤷🏽♀️

My jellybean aurora is looking like this. Are these hairs normal? None of my other succulents look like this 😵💫

So, my mother handed this to me yesterday and said “save it.” (This tends to happen to me a lot… anyone else?) 💚🪴
I’m just wondering if anyone can identify them?

Please help! I’ve had this hobbit jade plant for almost 2 years. It recently started dropping a lot of leaves really quickly and developed brown spots on most of the leaves that dropped. I don’t know what’s wrong and I don’t know how to help it.
I water it every 1-2 weeks when the top soil is dry. It got repotted in March and its health has just been spiralling since then. It used to live right by our south facing window, but i feared that the brown spots were developing because it was getting cooked during the day while I was at work, so I moved it to the center of the room. That seemed to make the leaves drop faster so i moved it back by the window today.
I’m not sure what’s wrong and I don’t know how to fix her. Please help!

I have had this Echeveria gibbiflora for about three months and it has always slightly tilted over toward the top. Recently its leaves (particularly the lower ones) are soft, mushy, and wrinkled. Several have shriveled up entirely and I’ve removed them, but the remaining lower leaves haven’t changed color much at all - still green.
The plant is about 5 inches tall, sits basically right in the windowsill, and is in a 3in tall x 3in diameter cup with drainage. I water it every 8 days (as recommended by this app).
Any thoughts on saving this plant?

I just found out that ants actually eat aloe vera it was terrifying when I moved the pot for mine only to find hundreds of ants under it do not leave them outside if necessary or something I don’t want anyone to take that risk

My big succulent, not sure the name. But it’s been really struggling yesterday when I repotted it had almost no roots. That was the first time I repotted since I bought it. Oh and it’s been in my table but I moved it for a few minutes to do this. Also if you have any tips on string of pearls I would love that too!!!

My pretty cactus came damaged 😭 I read online that
If you trim it and then cocktail stick it and use hair ties or something along those like it will help it stick back together? I'm hoping this will help.
How long should I leave it? If this doesn't work could I plant the broken part into the soil?
Emailed the company waiting on a reply.

Is everything okay here?
I’m always posting about this plant because he’s so interesting, and I’m not really sure what he is lol. I cut off the top a couple of months ago because it was getting leggy due to being in a different location under a grow light. For the past couple months, he’s been growing from the top into what looks like little plants, while sitting in my north facing window. I’m not sure what to do with the new growth and the dying leaves at the bottom. Someone told me I should leave the dying leaves alone, but I’m not too sure if that’ll leave room for pests to take over.
With the new growths (4 new heads and 1 little head) should I just let them grow and leave them alone, or would it be possible to cut them off and plant them around the main plant?

Hi guys!
This is my callisia repens who’s been giving me quite a bit of trouble lately. I replanted and trimmed dead roots 3 days ago, causing me to lose a lot of her due to root rot. This is how she looks right now, dry crispy leaves and pretty droopy… I’m wondering if anyone knows what is going on or has any tips on what to do?
She’s placed on the windowsill of my east facing window, the top part of the soil is very dry but the bottom is pretty damp. I tried bottom watering but I don’t think the plant liked it too much. Thank you!!

Lithops are cool!
Lithops are succulents that have evolved to look like rocks under the scorching sun, hence the shape, they also come in different colors which is also cool I guess. Though, the best part has to be when they flower!
