🆘 Infestation!!! HELP - plant gurus wanted! I am a beginner and may be a little in over my head right now 😭 I picked up this Dwarf Jasmine Tree plant from Home Depot some fourish days ago. I’ve repotted it, given it plant food, some nice light, and a couple waterings. It looks nice and seems to have adjusted well, but I’ve noticed these greenish/blackish pests, small white specks, and white chalky residue on the leaves. I consulted Planta AI and it identified the problem as “aphids.” I’ve tried to take off as many pests and as much white residue as possible with a wet paper towel and a little dish soap. As per Planta’s advice, I’ve also doused it in Neem oil. These pictures are after all of my efforts. Should I go on a pruning spree on the clusters of flowering buds, where they seem to congregate the most? Is this plant a lost cause? My pothos is doing well, my periwinkles are doing okay, but me and Jazzy, WE ARE IN PERIL!!!

We had major thunderstorms last week and my bird of paradise received way too much water but is that what has caused these leaves to brown or is it something else?

Hi there! I live in Fl where the highs of the day are reaching between 92-98 degrees and almost my whole collection is outside. Everyone except my anthurium are doing well, does anyone know if I move the anthurium inside will they be okay? I have good lighting in my bedroom where a monstera does well. Should I get a humidifier?

Newbie plant mom…only a few months. My Camille, Philo and Pothos are looking not too happy. I used a commerical bag of indoor potting soil and perlite. I water the Pothos and Philo every 5 days, Camille 8 days. Liquid fertilizer every 3 weeks. Grow lights are on for about 12-14 hours per day.

Any thoughts on how to rid this pesty gnats once and for all?

Hello, I’m a new gardener. I planted azaleas in wonderful new acidic soil covered them with fresh pine chips approximately four weeks ago. I have been good to water them nearly daily at the roots Over the past week and a half, we have had a lot of rain so I backed off on watering. Leaves on my azaleas have started turning yellow with black spots. I thought it was too much rain, but the soil seems dry now. I sprayed them with neem oil 2 days ago, but the leaves continue to turn yellow with black holes and drop. please help. One of the azaleas has had a bloom over the past week so I thought they were beginning to do better. But they’re getting worse I don’t know how to prevent them from dying. They are looking sparse. Thanks for your expertise.

ALGAE! "Kelp" Me Out, Please!!! I was watering plants today and I will admit I've been a bit neglectful the past week... when I brought Bubble into the kitchen I found that the bowl she was sitting in had a LOT of algae at the bottom and a bit up the sides. I've never grown a plant in water before, and she's been thriving, but the amount of algae worried me because I'd been seeing her roots get a bit green for a while now - it was just never this bad. Her roots have grown like wildfire despite it all, and despite being green. I have her sitting in the only spot available for plants rn (we have limited open space and she's too big for her old spot) and it's right next to a west facing window, any other spots are too far from the windows. Is there something I can do to help her roots? I'd like to keep the glass 'bubble' type vase, but I'm willing to find a new one ESPECIALLY since I think it's soon gonna be time to upgrade her room. I already washed the vase with dawn dish soap and let in sit under super super hot water for a few minutes while letting Bubble herself sit to the side for a bit, and I tried to wipe off what I could from the roots. I have a bad infestation of fungus gnats! I have tried essential oils, bowls of vinegar and even bug spray and every day I have a huge batch of new gnats flying around. Any advice?

My snake plant is starting to look bad. It was in a darker area so I moved it to a brighter place. I just made this change but was wondering if I should do anything else.

I got this plant from Facebook Marketplace. It was listed as Ctenanthe lubbersiana, AKA Golden Mosaic or Never Never plant. I really have no clue what’s wrong with it. My friend suspected spider mites and I did find a few little white dots on the underside of the leaves, so I picked up some neem oil and wiped all the leaves down. No matter what I do, the leaves just continue to whither and die. I’ve never had this kind of plant before - what am I doing wrong? Unsure if I’m watering enough, if it needs more direct light, or maybe being repotted in different soil? Open to any and all suggestions at this point.

So have had this plant for a good year now and it never seemed to grow but it also never died then in the last month some of the plant died. This is the plant now, if any one knows how to help this little guy please let me know.

This my raised lettuce bed. These tiny white dots are against the wall in 3 places. Any ideas?

So I made a post about my plant turning brown couple days ago and went to the plant shop to get some tips the guy said this was past saving and is best to chop off and propagate the healthy parts. Not too sure as I am scared if I cut it off I could be doing more damage?? Any advice pls

A lot of my plants are getting this white built up on the soil. Plants look healthy. I just got them grow lights so all of them will be getting more light. Is it from lack of light, fertilizer, or using tap water, or sick? I can’t tell. Do I repot them?

Hello all! I've been noticing this white residue on my Godzilla pothos and I can't quite figure out what it is. It's only on the new growth as pictured, however the only answer I'm getting through Google is mealy bugs. And that would suck. So I'm hoping it's not that. Anyone got any ideas? I seriously appreciate the help!

This is my gorgeous banana plant, we’ve had it for about 6 months now and it’s always throwing out new leaves. It wasn’t looking its finest a few weeks ago so I did some research and bought a self-watering pot. I was hoping it’d go wild after that as they’re meant to grow at an insane rate, but this one just isn’t! The leaves always look kinda crusty and dry around the edges and it just doesn’t look as pleasing as we’d hoped! Any ideas? Would pruning the crispy leaves be a solution? Thanks guys x
