Found out millipedes aren’t bad for your plants… but anyways today was the first hot day since last summer and found about 100 of these in my monstera plant that’s INSIDE. Not sure if the heat triggered them but I’ve never seen one in my plant till today, about 20 on the soil and 20 dead in the water catching tray… Do you think they were hibernating in there this whole time??? I’ve never seen a single one and I’ve had this plant for about a year

My pothos has been thriving despite me fighting off mealy bugs since November. But now, over the past two weeks, about 75% of the leaves have turned yellow. The soil is very dry even though I watered it a few days ago and these spots have developed. I typically water every 10-14 days and live in a very dry climate. Am I under watering my plant or are the bugs running their course??
Peacock plant, lower leaves are all brown and crispy? It looks so compact down there…does it need a bigger pot?
Can someone tell me what’s going on w this yellow leaf? I only water her when her soil is fully dry and I use a moisture meter to determine when that is. She’s not root bound just yet aside from a one very small root sticking out of her drainage holes. I’ve had her for about 3 months now…my apartment is a bit on the cooler side. It’s usually about 69 degrees Fahrenheit in the day and about 65 at night but she gets full indirect light.
Why is my snake plant growing a stalk like this? I know they like to be crowded but is it possibly too crowded?
My bonsai has been losing a lot of his leaves so I’m wondering if I should move him to my bedroom or am I just under watering him? Also my bonsai’s pot doesn’t have any drainage holes so is that also a problem?
Does anybody know why this is happening? My polka dot plant has its leaves curling and some of the tips are brown. Is not being underwater. Maybe overwatered but is in a self watering pot. Water when the app tells me or if the soil is dry. Any tips or idea of whats going on?
Apparently I struggle with overwatering and just being nervous in general about my new plants’ moisture levels. Are watering globes a good investment?
My silver dragon is dying I think. I thought by transferring it to Leca it would thrive more and it didn’t. So I put it back in soil took off the roots that had root rot and added root drops to the most recent watering. Need help! What’s going on? This is a before and current picture
My cactus is struggling suddenly. It has some graying spots along the shoots and a yellow spot around the base. It’s located in an eastern facing window where it’s been for the past 3 years. The soil is very dry and the spots don’t feel super mushy or super dry. I can’t tell if it’s from sun burn or root rot 😅 Any ideas?
I got this little Christmas cactus as a freebie and its roots look fuzzy. Is this normal or a fungi?
Hi all! My Lady Valentine Chinese Evergreen hasn’t grown for months. I’ve given her slow release fertilizer pellets and moved her to my sunniest window, but nothing’s changed. Does anyone have a suggestion?
Hey all, my bf and I just got this plant a few weeks ago at Lowe’s and it’s been doing really well until this past week I can’t tell if it’s overwatered or underwatered? I’m sure my cats biting it hasn’t helped and it probably needs more light, but I want to make sure I’m not underwatering it?
What are the brown spots on my hoya ’crinkle 8’? I tried to look into it and i feel like it could be edema. I just hope it’s not a disease. It’s only on these few new-ish leaves, and hasn’t appeared on the rest of the plant.
Is this a problem? I’m worried these are spider mites and have no idea if it’s a big problem or not. I have never seen this on any of my plants and it’s only on 2 of them. Any advice is welcome, tips and tricks to get rid of it too please.
I’ve posted recently about soil mold so I ordered some orchid soil and some cactus soil. Would a mixture of those 2 plus regular soil be good for all my plants? I plan to leave the orchid in its bark mixture. It seems like the mold and other issues I’ve had so far have been from overwatering even though I’ve been following Planta’s recommendations.
My Dumb is sad:( it gets medium light, and water every 8 days. Any tips?
