I’ve posted recently about soil mold so I ordered some orchid soil and some cactus soil. Would a mixture of those 2 plus regular soil be good for all my plants? I plan to leave the orchid in its bark mixture. It seems like the mold and other issues I’ve had so far have been from overwatering even though I’ve been following Planta’s recommendations.
That’s pretty much the mix I use for all of my plants and it works for me. I don’t recommend following plantas watering schedule as I did that when I first got the app and ended up overwatering a lot of plants. I just use the schedule as a reminder to check if they need water, I use a moisture meter to check how wet the soil is and almost all of my plants are in clear pots so I can see when they need water more easily.
좋아요 1개 Thanks for the good info! Please tell me the moisture meter you have. I bought one and it showed every plant at exactly the same measurement! So did you buy clear nursery pots to put inside your decorative pots?
