I spent a couple of hours last night āpottingā up all my props. They are in cups with perlite/moss. I kept them in the same box I propped them in with a light and seedling mat. I watered and misted the top and closed it up so they are still getting the humidity they are used to. I think they will grow, all looks good this morning. I hope I did this right, itās the first try for me.

Hello
I got this cute little self watering pot today, I have tons of house plants but Iāve always used soil, leca or pon. This one shows you add water to the clear pot then sit the terracotta pot in it so the pot absorbs the water. My question is can I use soil in this type of pot? I am currently out of leca and pon. So was hoping soil would work. Thanks in advance!!

I cut this rehab syngonium in December and it hasn't had much new growth since but I saw a video where they deadheaded the plant to make it grow better. Thoughts? Do you think deadheading might be optimal?

Hi! I recently received a huge monstera cutting! When i was driving home it ended up freezing in the car (it was -16 f outside). 2/3 of the leaves couldnāt recover from the cold but 1 leave held strong! it was doing ok but now itās turning dry and Iām not sure what to do! Itās not rooted yet. Any and all advice would be welcomed!!!
Thank you in advance!

I just got a Jacklyn alocasia and went to repot it and found this. Is it a corm? The ones I've found before usually have the brown outside and this doesn't but figured I'd ask if anyone knew what is it

Hi! I'm wondering if anyone has any tips for propagating bamboo rhizomes as I'm looking to plant some that are native to the USA (recently learned we have 3-4 native species that got way overly harvested in the past), but I've never propagated bamboo before so I'm unsure how to go about it. I plan to plant them in a pot or garden bed when I move to Las Vegas near the end of the year since I've learned from experience that they spread pretty fast and once they're established they're really hard to get rid of if you need/want to (my grandmother planted some in the backyard when she first moved to the USA from Korea).

Anybody had any luck with propagating Christmas cacti? I planted a few pieces together that have several nodes and some have the Y-split node that Iāve heard was good for propagating. Iāve been misting and lightly watering but I see no new growth. Any suggestions or do they just take longer?

Is there a way to add propagating plants to your plant library?

Just planted this from water. I love the way the leaves are. š„°
Hey friends š¤, I just cut back my very long and leggy Golden Potho and I was left with these bald vines.
What is the best way to propagate these Viney boys? And how should I cut them?
Should I leave 2-3 nodes in between each cut or should I cut between each node itself ?
Also, do I have to cut them??
I have Spanish moss and was wondering if I can stick some of that in a plastic bag with water and toss my cuttings into it?

My flowering mystery plant. I found a bulb when clearing a friend's garden in the autumn and planted it to see what would happen. I thought for a while that it looked like a hyacinth but now I'm not sure. My plant identifier app suggests Spanish Bluebell

Hello! I read somewhere that you can put leftover scallion cuttings in water and theyāll grow. Itās worked so farāthis is only two days of growth! Iām wondering if/when I should plant them in soil. They started with pretty developed roots. Thank you so much š¤

Iāve been putting off propagating my monstera because itās my favorite plant and Iām terrified of wasting perfectly good leaves and cuttings only to fail!!!
Looking for all the tips and tricks!
Potentially relevant information:
-I live in Nebraska (weather was -20° overnight last week and will hit up to 55° this upcoming week, but the house is always warm, at anywhere between 70-78°) and sunlight isnāt hard to come by around here but we do have a lot of gloomy winter days
-The monstera in question is pictured, overall in great condition, with one or two leaves with mild browning. I would assume I should use the stronger leaves to propagate.
Main questions are how to take proper cuttings, how long to let it sit before putting it in water, how long it takes to show some root growth, and can i realistically do this without rooting powder
Thanks in advance!!

Hello! I have a monstera albo cutting on the way and I have always water propagated. However, i want to give my Al o the strongest roots possible and keep it the most healthy, as well as the node while it grows. Would it be best to start in water, and as a root begins to form, transfer it to sphagnum moss? Or should i be brave and just start w straight sphagnum? Any tips and tricks would be wonderful.
