I cut this rehab syngonium in December and it hasn't had much new growth since but I saw a video where they deadheaded the plant to make it grow better. Thoughts? Do you think deadheading might be optimal?

I would not recommend it. Rather I'd recommend checking the roots on the plant

2 likesI have reppoted it two weeks ago! Roots are healthy and abundant
1 likeDo you sterilize by spraying with something like hydrogen peroxide… to runoff? TIA!
1 likeI sterilize with a hydrogen peroxide/soap/alcohol/water solution, but it depends on the plant, some are more sensitive like African violets
1 likeI recently have had problems with my syngonium with some yellowing leaves, more near the base of the plant, but not always. I was given advice by Planta members to let it dry out to around 30+%, which is pretty low. I’m experimenting with that now. So far, so good! Maybe this is an answer???
1 likeShe definitely needs to dry out a bit 😭!! When I got the plant the soil never drained but it's been very humid so all my own soil has been hard to dry
