So I’m not sure if I cut the roots back or put it like that? It’s been in that container for at least six months because my depression was holding me hostage so everything just kinda did its own thing other than food and water. So yeah what do you think guys!?!

This has been in water and rooting hormone for far too long!! It’s pushing out leaves like crazy, it’s got eight leaves as of now. I broke the stem a long time ago, so do you think it will be okay to plant it like it is and what size pot? I have from 2 inch pots all the way to ginormous!! I’m gonna post another one that’s like a whole tree now, I’ve honestly never even identified it so I gurl I’ll do that now then post and see if yak can give me some much needed advice!!

Hey plants friends .. Any advice on propagation from a birds of paradise stem cutting?? My bird of paradise last sprout is huge and it bent over before the leaf could even reveal itself so I was thinking can I jus cut the stem and start a new plant ?

Hey !!! So I repotted my chives money tree today because it had out grown the pot it was on and had a lot of pubs … it has been doing this what should I do ? I watered it lightly since repotting because the soils was dry dry before I repotted Other than that these are a few of the propogstation I have from this plant

My first black velvet micans almost died. It got root rot in bad soil because I didn’t transplant it for a couple of weeks. This slimy rotten root part slid right off the new roots after they started growing. Water and root hormone used.

Why didn’t my Ivy cuttings grow? The mother plant was really healthy. Other cuttings have grown quite well here. I added root boost to the water as instructed. I’m certain that I grew Ivy’s from cuttings from my mom’s plants when I was a kid. These have been not growing for about 10 days and yesterday I cut the bottom parts off because they were getting rotten and I put the leaf stem apex in the water instead. Will that work? Any words of advice?

I rescued this poor jade plant from a local antique store but it's my first jade plant! Any tips to help her thrive? She was definitely thirsty so I watered her and got her in a Chucky soil under my grow light. She has a few small roots and some new growth at the very top Thoughts?

I always forget the before picture, I’m so eager to get started. I rescued this Aloe from my mother’s house about 6 months ago and it was almost gone. Now I’m ready to repot and re-home 9 new starts. I’ll take one of the small ones to mother in her assisted living facility, to put in her windowsill.

I went to my bestie’s house for “dinner” but really it was just to get some cuttings. She gave me so many, I had to get a whole new shelf for my plants and create a propagation station. I’m obsessed! 😍🪴

What should I do? I was thinking of cutting up the top and then placing in the soil to make it bushier but I am new to this. Suggestions please! I think its a mini zen plant ?? 🤷🏼‍♀️

Hey everyone!! I successfully propagated a trim from my mother plant and I want to add it in to make it look more full, is there a trick to do it without causing damage. I’ve never propagated anything before.

Hi all. I propagated golden pothos. Had 3 separate babies and they had all grown nice roots of > 1 inch each. I placed them in soil, initially in a 3 inch plastic pot but then I moved them to a chobani container (holes in the bottom of course) as I felt the pot was too big. The leaves are yellowing and look like they are fainted. What did I do wrong? Should I place them in water again to try save them?

Trying to see if I can develop some propagations from my mother’s spider plant. The original plant was overrun with baby props so we’ll see how many will survive and become my new little spiders. 🤷‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤩
