Please, I am DETERMINED to keep this guy healthy. A little spotty yellowing in some of my fiddle leaf fig leaves. Not enough water? She sits in a SE facing window. The leaves are a bit dirty, I know I should probably clean them so she can absorb more light? Tips?
How can I change watering schedule for an entire site? Most of my sites coincide with sprinkler zones and it’s a pain having to update the custom water schedule for each plant.
Any tips on how to keep these two from getting fungi? They were both exposed today. Would Clove Bud oil be good? Shampoo spray?

Posting for all you outdoor gardening lovers! I have found that waiting to water your garden a bit later then is ideal will help drought resistance. I suggest doing this when there are few inches tall. Plus for all those tomato lovers remember to decapitate your tomatoes! Yes, chop the heads of your tomato baby’s right above the first node and they will grow into two stems! 🍅🥦🥬🫛🍓
Sharing my new addition to the family. Any tips would be greatly appreciated. Haven’t had the best of luck with money trees in the past. One thing I’ll do differently this time is keeping the soil a tad bit moist & not allow it to dry up completely.

I remember seeing somebody on here saying that their monstera liked having a moss pole, and I didn't exactly know what a moss pole is. Would my mini monstera benefit from having one of these or will he be fine with just a stick/the wall behind him to prop him up? Also I know the stick he has right now is way too small... It's just the only stick I have right now 💔
My ivy has been dying at the end of the vines and it hasn’t been producing any new leaves and it hasn’t grown much either. It is under a grow light for 12 hours a day and has not been repotted recently. It is on a good watering schedule for a while now. I’m not sure what to do? Should I give it a pole to climb up?
Any tips to keep this healthy?
Can the dry air from ceiling fans, cause your plants to turn brown?
Sharing some experience/wisdom/foibles re: my Zygo/Thanksgiving cactus, for anyone interested 😅 {TL;DR} I repotted in a pot that was too big, I’ve been monitoring some problems over the past few months, I am putting her back into TC Due for a repot in early spring, I moved her from terra cotta into this awesome pot & new soil after a 3rd successful (& better than ever) bloom year. I noticed a little bit of shock from the repot, but otherwise an easy transition. After about a month I was noticing that this big pot was hanging onto water much longer than I (or my plant) would prefer. I was watering much less frequently, and as it got sunnier & warmer I should have been headed the other way. I gave it a bit more time thinking it could just need more time for more roots. Now, I’m still not watering as often as this plant would like, and I’m noticing the new growth is starting to show signs of stress (pictured) so it’s time to ditch the “awesome” pot and get her back into TC. The holiday cactuses are epiphytes, so I’ll be adding plenty of flaky bark & some perlite to my usual FF Ocean Forest base medium & cross my fingers for another beautiful bloom in November. If I boil it down to where I specifically went wrong, I think the new pot was simply too big & the wrong material. The same size in TC probably would have been fine, as the TC allows better drying, but this pot is some kind of non-porous plaster-type material and there just aren’t enough roots to make use of the water. There are always lessons to be learned in plant keeping — one of the reasons I love this hobby so much! If you made it to the end of this I’m glad you’re here & hope you learned something 😅
Any tips on this monstera? It stopped pushing out bigger fenestrated leaves and in my opinion is looking a big leggy It was very very happy for the longest time and imo still is, I just don’t know why it’s pushing out such small leaves. Maybe time for a trim?
Anyone know how much longer till my sunflowers will bloom?
I learned a difficult lesson this week.. Don’t let your plants share water baths because unknown pests will move between them. My air plant just started to flower but the flowers died before they bloomed. When I investigated, I found mealy bugs :( The same mealy bugs that killed my Adansonii Monstera 😭 I took this picture last week in excitement of the incoming flower and completely missed those little white legs sticking out. I see them now! Ugh!
hey! so i used to have plants however i think i went wrong with my potting soil. i’ve recently acquired new plants and have been trying to figure out the best soil option. i’ve decided on orchid mix with perlite. is that a good mix for a more aerated soil?
