Two part question: what is the stuff on the leaf in the left picture? And if you look closely, what are the teeny white bugs on the plant in the right picture? I did notice that they’re able to fly. TIA!

Hey guys! I’m curious
I’ve had this lady (Queen of the Night) for about 2 years now and she just recently bloomed about a month ago. Of course I didn’t catch it, just woke up one morning to a dead flower â˜č BUT!! She looks like she’s going to bloom again? I thought they were only supposed to bloom one night out of the year. Has anyone else had their Queen of the Night bloom more than once? Ps. I know she looks real sun stressed but she’s so happy! I have another that is primarily indoors and it’s so much smaller, they were bought at the same time.

I was recently gifted a Flaming Katy succulent cutting, and I have no experience with gardening at all. Is this cutting too big? I'm afraid that the plant won't be able to root because of how many leaves are in the cutting.

Hey guys, I live in Alaska, currently getting a lot of daylight and I did a recent cutting on my Swiss cheese about 1 week ago and the cutting and mother leaves are turning yellow. Would it be from too much light?

So I just got this majestic palm, and I know they can be sensitive to chemicals. I bought some distilled water for the first time watering it, but do I always need to buy distilled water for it? And how often does it need to be watered?

Did you all use neem oil / spray on your house plants to prevent pest ? I also saw something about putting hydrogen peroxide in water when watering the soil to kill pests . Does anyone of this actually work ?

Can anyone inform me on what that is. At first I thought it was a new leaf but it has a bulb. Is it a bloom?

Does anyone happen to know why my begonia is doing this? I think it’s wilting? I’m not too sure but I’ve cut several leaves and the stems aren’t mushy, there’s no signs of rot and I’m doubtful that it’s due to overwatering. I dont think it’s pests either. I originally thought it was too humid so I moved it but there was no change and now it’s losing its last leaf. It’s also is actively putting out new growth just doesn’t hold more than one leaf at a time. Any suggestions? Same leaf in the pics below, before and after!

I started using this app earlier this year, and I noticed that it tends to prompt me to overwater my plants. I want to get on top of my watering schedule because I have a trip coming up in the fall and I want to make it easy on my plant sitter. Is there a way to see the frequency of watering on each plant? I’ve looked around and there doesn’t seem to be anything that’s straightforward.

I read several posts here about Ott’s exotic plants. I googled it this morning and found out it’s only about an hour away from me. Since I’m on summer vacation I decided to visit tomorrow. Can anyone give me some tips or recommendations of what to do or look for while I am there? I truly do not need another indoor plant but I am sure I’ll get something! I have been hankering for a peacock plant add to my collection, so if they have a nice once I imagine it will come home with me! Also, I have been interested in getting a fern but I’m worried because I’ve read they are prone to pests. I’ve been really carefully looking after the plants I have and using mosquito bits to keep away gnats and mosquitoes. Do you think I am ready for a fern?

My albo syngonium has matured now to where it’s beginning to produce tri-lobed leaves 😊đŸ„č From what I understand syngoniums do this as they mature going from the more arrowhead shaped leaves in their juvenile form to these split ones in their mature form.

Plant friends
.. I need help. I got this peperomia 19 days ago. I have not watered it in 19 days because the soil has been wet since I got it. I don’t see yellow leaves or brown leaves. I don’t see pests. I see some new growth. But
. I don’t think soil should stay wet for 19 days! It’s been in EVERY window of my house and it thrives in all of them but the soil isn’t drying. So my only recourse I guess is
. What? Repot? I’m afraid I’m going to knock off every single leaf if I try to repot this thing. Or I could put a fan on it. Thoughts?!

Joke of the day! 🌿🚰 "I told my plant it was looking a little droopy, and it just stared at me. I think it's judging my watering habits." đŸ€” Have a good day! ❀ đŸȘŽ
