I’ve been loving the progress on my dieffenbachia top cutting that I propagated, but how do I make sure it continues to grow without becoming leggy, or so it can grow fuller? Also should I cut off most of the bottom leaves?

First picture is end of January this year; second is end of August. This plant has more than doubled in size and is growing faster than I can find new places to fit it, after months of leaf loss and stagnant growth. I didn’t become way better with plants in that period; the main changes were that I removed the plug around its roots and gave it a grow light. If you’re ever feeling bad about a plant not doing well, try to remember two things: - People with “green thumbs” are mostly just people with big south-facing windows - Plants are resilient and can come back, even if you’ve been too busy or depressed or stressed out to give the best care. The fact that you care means it’s probably in a much better situation than most. 💗 Would love to see other people’s pics of plants bouncing back, whether from their state when you bought them or from how they used to look in your care.

Hi everyone, My monsterra is getting bigger and I thought of repotting it and separated some of it to a new pot but would like to know all of your suggestions. If it's better to leave it as it is, get a bigger pot and add another pole for support ? Thank you 😊

Any idea what dictates the size of new growth on these plants? I'm not changing anything but sometimes new growth is fast and large and other times, slow and grows a tiny leaf. Just wondering if there's anything I should be doing differently

I have decided I am going to trellis my Baltic blue Pothos on one of these moss poles. However, I know nothing about selecting one of them, and before I go to the trouble of transplanting my Baltic, (with all of her long arms), I’m asking for some advice. If anyone would comment on the advantages, or disadvantages, of using any of these poles, I would sincerely appreciate it. TIA for your comments! 🤗💚🪴

Can anyone please tell me what this plant is called? I bought it as an indoor plant from a plant shop a few months ago but was never told the type.

My two polka dot plants, just recently repotted (month or two ago) and have ALREADY started growing roots out the bottom. Should I trim the roots? Repot and upsize again? Leave them alone and not worry about it? Also not interested in chopping the plant it as I know I’ll get that suggestion :)

Another question for you genus’s out there. When I repot should I add systemic to the soil right off the bat to prevent bugs 🪳
