Any idea what dictates the size of new growth on these plants? I'm not changing anything but sometimes new growth is fast and large and other times, slow and grows a tiny leaf. Just wondering if there's anything I should be doing differently

For my trees, season definitely plays a role. Mine grow bigger leaves and more leaves in the spring and summer, and grow smaller leaves less often in the fall and winter. I assume it’s because of the general change in light levels through the day based on the season. Haven’t done any reading on this though, it’s just my experience

Temperature impacts leaf size with these even more than light in my experience

Yeah, similar to those above. I’d say light makes the biggest difference for mine but that’s partly because they’re all inside to begin with, so temp swings from maybe a winter low of 66-67 up to a summer high of 74-75. If it’s colder or if it’s in a lower-light situation (either duration or brightness) then leaves are much slower/smaller
