What exact kind of Begonia is this? It just says Begonia Rex but the picture doesn’t look like this when it comes up after scanning it.

Just re-potted my snake plant into a different container for better drainage. Bc the new container is clear, I realized my bottom watering isn’t actually reaching the roots of the plant…. Anyone know if this is a problem and I should start top watering??

UPDATE!!: My corn plant’s flower has fully emerged. It DOES have a lovely perfume fragrance! It is now evening and the smell is getting stronger!! I am so thrilled. Thanks to Planta and my efforts of really paying attention to my plants and giving them what they need, I have been rewarded with flowers!! I never knew a Dieffenbachia flowered. My corn plant is looking like an alien is coming out the top but alas, it is a flower. I love to shop the clearance plants and bring them back to life. Both plants I’ve had for about 6 years or more, and they struggled with pests, not enough light, being drafty and inexperience. Look at them now. ❤️

Ok I’m super happy I gave Monty a better look this morning. Just for aesthetics and to get the aerial roots to attach I thought a sturdier moss pole would be best..😊😊 I’m excited to monitor its growth.

Brazil Vine Grow Light Question??? I’ve had this plant for a few months, it’s not getting enough sunlight so I got these Sansi lights(last picture). It gets 8 hours of low indirect sunlight a day. How many hours/ brightness should I give the plant? Also what time of day? Thanks

Has anyone ever grown Sarah Bernhardt peonies indoors? I bought one and a giant pot to put her in, but our yard doesn’t get much sun, so I was thinking indoors with a grow light? Just wondering what my rate of success will be… :)

Does anyone have advice for what to do with this leaf? Half of the leaf split off awhile ago and this spot has only gotten worse, but there are no issues with any of the other leaves. Should I just leave it like that or is there something I can do? Thanks!

I just got in a bunch of starter plants wrapped in Saran Wrap with soil. I have a little greenhouse set up and plan to put them in semi hydro potting but should I repot them right away or leave them for a few days? I’m concerned for root rot since there aren’t getting air but don’t want to stress them out by repotting them.

Hello, I used the below soil with a terracotta pot in my Begonia. How would you classify this soil in Planta? It’s more of a potting mix but says it’s for succulents, so do I select succulent soil or general potting mix? I know setting the soil properly is important so Planta can remind me when you water properly. Thank you, Eric

Hi, I have yet to keep a plant alive for more than 4 months, but I got some new ones and I’m really trying to keep them alive. I have a money tree, a calathea, and a birds nest fern. They’re in my office near a southwest-facing window with a grow light. (The ones on the bottom shelves are fake). Anyway I would appreciate any and all suggestions and advice if you have any!
