Anyone know what the heck is going on with this? Got it about a year ago and it had like....four leaves on it. And they fell off and died. And it's been just this stalk for about.....seven months? At one point it looked like it had some buds coming in but đ€·đ» why she don't like me?

So I have this plant and she's really thriving. Shooting out tons of babies. My question is, when a new sprout comes next to an already grown leaf, should I support the older leaf upwards? When I first got her, the first new leaf she got kind of pushed the older leaf down and it ended up dying. So right now I just have her supported with some chopsticks until I get her a trellis, maybe?

Can anyone confirm that this is a snake plant? Plants is giving mixed ID, as either a snake plant or a type of Hoya. The leaves do feel a bit thick and waxy so maybe it is a Hoya? I ordered a pet friendly mystery box and this is what I received. If it is a snake plant then it is toxic. I reached out to the company but havenât yet received a reply. I have a puppy who puts EVERYTHING in his mouth so I need to be extra vigilant. ETA: I took all the helpful information from everyone and searched their website and now I do think it is a Hoya. I will keep it in the garage away from Samwise Potato until the confirm but Iâm a bit relieved that it will probably be OK. This will be my first Hoya so I will be super excited to have one!

I found this at a local nursery. I asked what it was and the lady said she calls it a pine one plant. She said they have only ever had this one and nobody has wanted it. Of course I took it home. Anyone have any advice about it or know the actual name.

I recently found this raven ZZ at a local nursery that was both healthy and under $30 (!!!) Naturally, it came home with me. Sheâs still in her nursery pot (photo 1), but I found a cute cover pot for it (photo 2). I watered her today as she was dry all the way to the bottom of the pot; and cleaned her very dusty leaves. Iâve placed her about 6â - 8â away from a south facing window. Does anyone have any tips for keeping a ZZ happy? Does lighting affect that beautiful black color (Google couldnât give me a straight answer)?
