Can anyone tell me what the little black dots are on my variegated jade? I don’t see any thrips. It’s had this for a while and then the leaves on the bottom turn all yellow. This stays outside on my covered porch that is open on the west facing and south facing sides. It lives in succulent gritty mix, no soil
I have fungal gnats what can I do to get rid of them I have using neem oil and hydrogen peroxide and nothing really has happened
Does anyone have a secret weapon against thrips? We got a major infestation from our Christmas tree last year we believe!! I feel like I get control of them and then 90 days later I have another infestation and lose a plant or two. Any tips or tricks appreciated!! (I’m currently using a diluted mixed of hydrogen peroxide, 70% alcohol, rosemary oil soap, tea tree oil soap, I also sprinkle all my plants potted in soil with diatomaceous earth)
I found this fiddle leaf fig on the side of the road. It has 3 stems and each only has 2 leaves. I repotted it and the roots look great, I also cut off the brown parts of some of the leaves and I made sure to not cut too close. Any tips for getting it to grow new leaves and even care tips for my new plant?

Any idea why I have this spot on my plant? There is no signs of bugs and the roots look good. I water when soil is almost dry. So I'm not sure what's going on. I have sprayed with neem oil just in case. Please help

Why does my umbrella tree have 3 droopy stems at the top? She’s been watered and has enough light. And she was just repotted? Can I trim those off and prop them maybe? Please help!
I don’t know who needs to hear this, but I just want to remind people sometimes it’s ok to let go. I’ve been fighting spider mites mealybugs in most of my outdoor plants on and off this summer, and it was causing me such an extraordinary amount of stress and anxiety that I finally decided it was best for my mental health to throw in the towel and get rid of them. It was a really difficult decision I didn’t come to lightly, but I feel a weight lifted off of me now. Always remember you are the most important plant in your collection, and you have to take the best care of yourself first. A hobby should be a net benefit to your life and add to your peace and happiness, not take away from it. When you’re dealing with persistent plant problems, take some time to consider if it’s detracting from your life and you’re spending a lot of time worrying about it, it may not be worth it. Give yourself some grace.
I got this huge Cattleya orchard of our local take one, leave one table. I had orchid medium but not an orchid pot that this beast would fit in. Which would work better, terracotta or plastic? I temporarily put it in plastic because I figured the terra-cotta might stay wet and rot the roots. I'm not good with orchids so I honestly have no clue.
Okay guys this is my second post about this plant and the same problem. I lifted up the pot and there’s mold I assume growing underneath the pot again. I don’t know what it’s from or how to fix it 😭 I already repotted the plant (bc of the same issue along with some sort of bugs) into this same pot but I cleaned it. I don’t have neem oil but I’ve been meaning to get some. Help 😭
Hello! I’ve had this night blooming cactus for about a year and a half. Recently these black spots have been popping up on her underside, the spots aren’t mushy they’re on the harder side. Is this something to be concerned about and can it be fixed? (She’s on the windowsill of a south facing window and gets watered once maybe twice a month) Thank you in advance!

I had recently gotten a big pot of succulents (ogre ears golden sedum paddle plant and tipsy turvy specifically.) And it had webs in it I thought it was a house spider so I left it alone till the plant started dying I thought it was spider mites so I sprayed neem oil some other spray and cinnamon plus orange peel juice and I just discorvered a tiny brown mushroom growing in spores and a weird smell I tried propagating one of the ogre ears and it wilted. Does anyone know about this?
Can anyone tell me what’s wrong with my plant. I currently have it outside in moderate sun (in shade at certain times) I water it when it says to be watered. I will say the pot does not have drainage holes unlike my other plants ( taking care of it for my mom) which could be a main issue but other than that I don’t know who it looks so droopy and sad.

I had a smallish I would say thrips outbreak! I’ve done two rounds of insecticide, sprayed all of them down with the hose, and then followed with a third round of insecticide. I vacuumed the carpet and dusted and swept everywhere (just in case one’s out walking around) Do we think they are gone? I just moved them back into my house and did a quick inspection didn’t find any 🤞🏼
Oh my god I got a Polk a dot plant recently and still haven’t repotted it because life is crazy but please tell me these are not bug eggs or I’m throwing it away😭 what do I do? Is it too late for this plant?
