Okay guys this is my second post about this plant and the same problem. I lifted up the pot and there’s mold I assume growing underneath the pot again. I don’t know what it’s from or how to fix it 😭 I already repotted the plant (bc of the same issue along with some sort of bugs) into this same pot but I cleaned it. I don’t have neem oil but I’ve been meaning to get some. Help 😭

    Are you sure it is mold? It looks like evaporated water that had some dirt in it. You don't have a tray under your pot so it would have just been a little water leakage. As for your plant, it may be overwatered.

      I’m not sure it is mold, i just assumed it was because it was fuzzy and it’s a cream kind of a color. And I didn’t know what else it could be

    It could be the picture...hard to see that it is fuzzy. Maybe get rid of the pot or sterilize it?

    Try one part hydrogen peroxide to 9 part water and sprat the bottom and the soil. Also get a tray for the bottom unless you take the plant elsewhere to water but you have to make sure its 100% dry on the bottom or put a try down. Make also just water the plant until the water comes out of the bottom (i feel like I'm saying "bottom" alot 😂😂🙈🙈)

      😂 thank you, I’ll try the mixture and might try the tray. I do take it elsewhere to water it and I make sure the water drains out the bottom and I try to make sure it’s all the way drained

    You need a drip tray for any excess moisture. Yes, even if the pot is drained after watering it might still have some drip and is definitely still moist. Keeping moisture straight on your windowsill is not good for it and may continue to cause issues.

    It’s likely a bit of mold. It would be better if you had a tray underneath of it. I had this problem when I watered too often. If the issue continues, you could put the pot on a rack or trivet, to raise it a bit and allow a bit of airflow beneath it.

    If your plant doesn’t seem to recover maybe propagate a few of the healthier leaves as an insurance policy? Also might help reduce the burden on the plant with less leaves.

    Clay pots will have all kinds of salts, minerals, mold and water stains. Water trapped under under the pot will leave deposits. It’s not an issue. Use plants pots to avoid seeing seepage found in clay pots. Many like the aging on clay pots. It’s a natural patina. 😁🪴🍀
