This is the condition I got this pink princess in and would love advice on how to help her! She had some brown and yellow leaves when I got her in, her leaves are starting to become droopier. She had some root rot and had to cut come off. Is the pot too big? Etc.
Hello!! Any and all advice and observations of my 2 year old orchid is so appreciated and welcomed! It's 2 leaves began showing signs of discoloration ~60 days ago and I hate seeing it progress into what look like a burn. Since doing some research on the initial discoloration, I have switched from hard water to rain water but I am seeking more advice on what my next steps should be to preserve the plant. It lives outdoors, in the shade, on my patio in Florida. Thank you for reading!! 🌿

I might never buy another plant at Lowe’s on clearance. If I could tell you the grief this girl has given me from day 1 bringing her home! I will just summarize: fungus gnats. Treatment. Fungus gnats. Treatment. Repot. Fungus gnats gone. Black tips on leaves. Waiting and waiting for rebound. Waiting. Waiting. Black tips on leaves. Maybe there is root rot? Maybe her pt was too big? Take out of pot. Bingo root rot. Wash away root rot. Repot in smaller pot and put in my shaded patio for outdoor recovery. Went into shock immediately the next morning. All her leaves fell and have not picked back up. It’s been one week. 🥺😩🤦🏻♀️ do I cut all her leaves off now or just keep waiting? Third photo was the day I repotted her. She looked better then she does now. She seems intent on this suicide pact she made once she was placed on clearance in Lowe’s.
Do I need to change the soil on this plant? I bought it about a month ago and I think it’s doing quite well, but the soil has white stuff on the top and I read that could mean it’s time to change it.
looking for some advise, i have 2 rubber plants, one is thriving but one is really struggling, is this salvageable or is it too far gone?😭 i moved it to a different room with more light when it started struggling but that only made it worse, went from 4 leaves to 2 very quickly any help is appreciated, these are my first rubber plants and i water them both the same frequency, how can one be so strong when the other is the exact opposite!
Moving worries - sunlight! Hello, my family and I moved and we're having some difficulty with finding a spot similar in light levels to where we had our plants previously which was west facing with not much blockage and lots of trees. The window we currently have our plants in front of is southern facing and there's a house blocking a lot of the light aside from mornings and afternoons (pictured) The way our house is set up there are no western facing windows we could put plants in (there's a small one with no blockage, but I'm not sure it's large enough and is directly next to a shower). There is this window, a northern facing window which our bed currently sits below (possible spot) with very little blockage due to being second level, and an Eastern facing window with no blockages but in a planned spot for furniture. There may be a second Eastern facing window and/or Western with no blockages, but the rooms are not set up yet and will not be for a bit yet. There are drafts pretty much everywhere, just slight variations in how direct they are, and we could possibly make room for some grow lights.... my question is this window okay? At least for now? I have bubble a bit lower as she's had some issues with algae growth, but Cherri seems to like here new places I've tried as it almost looks like she's flowering (never had a plant flower before so VERY confused) and she has a new shoot going up. These photos were taken maybe 15-20 minutes apart around 2 pm.

I have recently adopted a basil plant from Trader Joe. She was very root bound and so I repotted her to a bigger size with a mixture of potting mix, moss, and a bit of perlite. I have been monitoring the soil moisture with the moisture stick to ensure she has adequate water level. However, after a week her condition seem to worsened. She has a lot of new growth but a lot are flimsy and some have brown spots. The bigger leaves are turning yellow and die off pretty fast. I need help diagnose the problem here. Not sure if it is transplant shock syndrome and if so, should bring her indoor away from direct sunlight while she adjusting?

Got a new plant and it had damage to quite a few leaves. The auto diagnosis is saying it’s thrip damage but I’ve searched every millimeter of this plant and haven’t seen a single moving bug. Can yall help me confirm this is thrips?
Hi! I’ve had this corn plant for almost 2 months. I water it pretty infrequently as the only when soil is dry using a meter. I repotted once already with chunky soil after purchase. I left it in the same pot and the roots were not that deep. I moved it closer to the window with advice from Dr. Planta (north facing so not the best sun but running out of options) but the leaves are still curled. I have new growth that looks more flat but worried they’ll soon start to curl, and wondering if the other leaves will ever flatten out. I’m thinking of repotting with less soil in the same pot (so it’ll sit lower in the pot). Any other suggestions?
Anyone know what these are on my elephant tree plant!? I’m scared they are mealy bugs, but I always thought they were bigger? HELP

Hello everyone, was wondering if I could get some help with my birds nest fern. This guy gets minimally watered, for the most part left alone. Why are there issues with my leaves, and the baby ones inside look like they’re dying 😭
Help!!! This leaf is changing colors and the leaf is leaking water. The soil is moist not wet/soggy. I’ve been letting it dry out but it seems like the area is getting larger. What is this? How do I treat it?
Help🥲🥲🥲 I have this monstera burle Marx flame and it has been doing so well but its newest leaf doesn’t look so hot…none of the other leaves have started to rot and I honestly forget to water it. Should I let the plant do its thing and chop once the rotten leaf is pushed out? Any advice id helpful!
