i’m going to go crazy. please tell me my corn plant doesn’t have spider mites or something. i just found spider mites on another one of my plants yesterday (it was in a different room) and i’m going to pull my hair out if my biggest and oldest plant atm has them. he just developed this mold-looking stuff on the soil recently and my cat likes to nudge up against him but i spray and clean him with neem oil every other week to keep him dust free. it’s hard to tell what marks are new because this guy was a rescue, so he has had marks for awhile but no issues. he’s been under my big sansi grow light next to a mirror so ALL his leaves get good sun for 12 hours a day. please tell me it’s just dust kicked up from my cat🤞😭

Fist time growing lettuce. It’s been germinating for 3 weeks and nothing has popped up. The packet they came in said 7-14 days. Is that Normal or is something wrong?

I recently repotted plant using FoxFarm Ocean mix and soaked the pots in vinegar to clean up some mineral deposits. I noticed this white dust building along the rim of the pot - is this more mineral deposit, or should I be concerned??

Help!!! I repotted my ficus tree recently because her leaves were turning yellow. Since repotting the yellow leaves have come back - 6 today alone! Nothing else has changed. What do I do?

Hello, I’ve had Lantana’s before but they were always attacked by pests and died. This time, I bought two. One is thriving but this one below keeps shriveling up. It doesn’t appear to pests when I check for it and they are not attacking the other one. I make sure to water and have followed Planta’s advice. I have also isolated it from other plants in case of pests. Has anyone has this problem before? I’d really like to get it back up and healthy again.

Ugh, are these black spots thrips?? Newbie plant mom here and panicking. I’ve washed and neem oiled all of my plants and captain jacks bug spray coming tomorrow. Any other recs?

Does anybody know why my spring cactus is wilting and wrinkling? I tried watering it as that’s what the internet said but it’s only getting worse.

My Swiss cheese is not doing as well as I’d like. It’s in indirect sun, humidity around 45-50%, room temp 65-70 and it just keeps getting brown spots on the leaves. Has not been repotted since I bought it about 6 months ago. Any advice would be helpful! Thanks!

Help. Since I brought this plant home it’s had brown spots on the leaves. I have it on a watering schedule. It’s in a room and receives diffuse light.

I have inherited a Jade plant and it is not looking so healthy. I have already had to trim off a lot of the leaves that were terrible looking. I am not sure if I should completely repot the plant- removing the “dead” ones- and keeping the couple that look healthy. Help?!? Is there any hope of bringing the full plant back?? I appreciate the advice and help! 😊

Please help! I'm new to house plants and picked this guy up at an expo last weekend. All the little baby leaves turned yellow so I pulled them off (I don't know if I should have or not) but now the leaves also look like this. What should I do?? I did look for bugs but didn't see any!

Hi all! Thanks to your comments, I’ve learned I overwatered my snake plant! I’m truly a newb when it comes to house plants, so I’m hoping for some more guidance. It seems like I should cut the dead leaves. How exactly do I go about this? And please speak to me like I’m a kindergartener lol. I’ve never repotted anything before so I’d love to avoid it unless completely necessary.

Hi! I need help! Anyone know anything about Majestic Palms??? I’ve only had it about a month. It looked great when I first got it but it is slowly turning brown everywhere and I don’t understand why. It has plenty of sun and I’m only watering when the app says too.

hi planty friends! I recently repotted my heartleaf philodendron (Phalange) and she has not been doing great since. she’s had a lot of yellow leaves that I’ve been removing and I’ve noticed a lot of her leaves seem weaker and are curling. all of her new leaves have also been dramatically smaller, and I just noticed a tear in one of her leaves as well :( I’ve checked for pests and have been treating for them as well as a preventative, but I haven’t seen any buggies anywhere. does anyone have any idea what could be going on with her or any tips on how to get her thriving again? thanks so much!
