    This plant is not a true bamboo. It's a dracena. The brown tips are probably due to low humidity. The yellowing indicates a need for feeding probably or too low light.

    This is referred to as lucky bamboo! I have one just like it! I keep mine in a glass container as a hydroponic. You can use leca or pebbles. I use pebbles. I leave it next to a window and add water to the glass once it goes down a bit I also add liquid fertilizer specifically for hydroponics but not to often these honestly don’t need it. Not sure if yours is in soil but I’d switch! Just rinse off the soil really good from the roots. The yellowing usually means over or under watering.
