This week, and last, I brought home a bunch of small plants, which I should have sprayed immediately, and didn’t. In the past several days, I have noticed just a few tiny, dark elongated flying insects, maybe 1/16 of an inch with two long and antennae. Do these sound like fungus gnats? Unfortunately I couldn’t get a picture of one; I just squashed before I thought. If you think this is the case, what is the best method of getting rid of them before they infect all of my plants which have just gone through three sprays of neem interspersed by a copper fungicide for black spot? HELP!😵💫

My Christmas cactus isn’t growing too much, I have it in the dining room with a little sun and some shade because when it was in the sun room, the leaves were turning yellow, but now it’s not growing as fast as it used to. Does anyone know why?

Can someone tell me if I am doing anything wrong? I had it inside in a window originally, but I didn’t feel like it was getting enough or any sunlight at all. So I decided to move it to the top shelf of a rack I have out on my back porch. I know they don’t need much water, but can anyone recommend any other tips to make it look fantastic? I have a lot of dead vines in the base of the plant too.

Hi need help with our mini palm plant.
It’s stopped growing, leaf tips browning, and my husband saw millipedes or centipedes floating in the saucer when we were draining it.
The water flows out very quickly too when I water.
This palm has been healthy for a year and just now seeing this problem.
What may be causing this and how do I get rid of the gross millipedes?

Kinda new to this whole plant thing and decided to start off easy with some Aloe. I’ve had her for about a week and keep her in the center of my window so she gets all the sunlight. I just noticed this really dark patch base of this arm (if that’s what you want to call it). Just hoping to figure out why it’s doing this so I can prevent it from spreading! TIA

Wrinkling on leaves and roots of my moth orchid?
Any advice on how to help this poor guy out? At first I thought the issue was lack of light so I moved it to a sunnier spot where another orchid has been thriving, it’s only been a few weeks but how long should I wait if it doesn’t respond?

I think I made the mistake and potting this in water even tho internet said it would be fine. Anyway, the roots keep rotting so I’ve been removing more and more each week. I really don’t want to kill her :( any tips? Should I pot in leca or back to soil? She hasn’t grown a single leaf since the day of got her two weeks ago.

Can anyone tell me what these spots are? Is it thrips? It’s a new leaf that’s been popping up the past few weeks. I just noticed those brown spots. It hasn’t grown or anything, and I don’t see any movement like a bug on the leaf.

Bought this pink hyacinth today in Tesco’s, it is bending over a bit and very very dry soil so I have just watered it but the drainage pot is glued to the plastic pot.
Any help would be appreciated !

I have had fungus gnats in my plants for a while now and ive been watering with mosquito bits for a month or teo now and the still wont go away. I also have sticky traps set up (which there are gnats on them) and have sprinkled cinnamon in my plants!! They are still there! I am wondering if I should switch to bottom watering the plants? I have not been doing that because i want to kill the larvae through watering normally with the mosquito stuff… tia :)

My Zebra plants are very leggy in the center. I think I need to change the soil to make for more drainage. Any other suggestions? Do you think they need more light? I have them in a NW facing window.

Hello all, my new hydrangea is not doing well. Since the leaves were droopy, I decided to water it again, but I think I may have watered it too much despite giving it a bath and letting the excess water drain away. Now it’s looking yellow and it has lost lots of leaves.. But I’m not sure if this is the problem… I was wondering if I should re-pot it… Or should I wait to see if this passes and repot it then? Thank you!
