I currently have a cheap “moss” pole for my monstera. However I don’t think it’s something the aerial roots can grow into. I’ve seen the ones you can buy and fill with moss or whatever that the aerial roots grow into. I’ve also just seen some people use a nice sturdy trellis. Mine is just starting to grow one of its first aerial roots since I supported it. I’d like to figure out the best approach before it gets too big to change easily. I was misting this moss pole and the brown spot above the node appeared. Please any advice will help! Thank you:)

Only recently found out that monstera leaves are supposed to face one direction 😅 Is there any way I can get it to “reset” and face one way? It’s a little hard for me to find where to put the support now because the leaves are facing in different directions but it clearly needs a bigger pole than what I have right now…

I’ve noticed that my Thai Constellation has been dripping water from its leaves..my Deliciosa has never done this. Is this a good thing? Or bad?

My monstera plant has yellow spots on it , don’t know what’s going on with it

My Thai Constellation Monstera newest leaf. Hader since May of last year and this is her third leaf. She makes me so happy. ** also I know that the leaf is a little damaged - but aren’t we all??

hello! my monstera adansonii has very recently started struggling with this yellowing, which seems to also be discolouring the plants stem. i don’t think this is overwatering- if anything, i’ve been watering less than usual- but as a newbie to plants, i’m struggling to work out what the issue is. its current spot is in my bedroom window, so it’s receiving a good amount of sunlight. i intend on attaching it to some sort of pole soon to keep it stable but don’t want to do that if it’ll stress the plant more. please help!!

I found a Thai Constellation today! I’m so excited! I still need to get some support for it, any other suggestions for this plant? I’ve only had a Monstera Deliciosa and it’s definitely been a work in progress with figuring out that one.. 😵‍💫

I had originally ordered a Rhaphidophora decursiva (Dragons Tail) from Rare Plant Fairy, since I wanted to expand my collection with a little pricey plant. They accidentally sold it on me through the chaos of the holidays but were kind enough to give me $35 credit on top of the money I already had spent, soo…. I got a Raphidophora Tetrasperma Albo Variegated! I was a little nervous at first because a lot of the mature leaves have been trimmed, a lot, but it came already in the process of uncurling a new leaf! Hopefully it acclimates quickly with its new soil and environment! I’ll post updates😁

My Monstera has gotten HUGE and the moss poles I have are holding up but I think if I go any higher my monstera will be too heavy. Does anyone have any suggestions for replacing the moss poles that can take the weight of a large monstera?

I got two new thai constellations! One is much larger and came with some odd kind of soil, rice hulls I think. I have alot of plants but I am new to these thai monsteras. I wanted to hold off at least a month for adjusting to its new environment to resoil/repot, at least for the larger one. The smaller one’s soil may be fine but I wanna swap both I plan on making my own mix most likely, not entirely sure but have read around older posts. Orchid bark, some leca, chunky perlite, coco chips, and possibly a bit of soil? I also found a very good mix on Etsy from a great seller! They’re currently under a grow light but also gets some indirect light and direct for an hour or two in the evening. Does anyone have any notes on how I should approach this? As well as the lighting situation? I want these babies to flourish!

Sooo I was proud of my monstera until I saw a video and I’m apparently growing it crazy 😭 I have no sticks no poles and I know I need a bigger pot 😭

I let my monstera out on the front porch last summer and look at the baby she’s given to me this spring!

just bought this GORGEOUS baby for $29 bucks! Can’t wait to make her grow. I spent multiple times the price of the plant in supplies for it lol, grow light, pot, moss pole, etcetc but Im so happy!!!

Out of control plant and I need help trimming and staking it. I don’t know where to start. Leaves and air roots are all over the place and it’s up to the ceiling now. It’s a tangled mess. Please help. What should I do to style the plant? Should I cut and repot?

Tomorrow marks a week with this new monstera. I have her in the corner to quarantine in my lil’ studio. Her pot is 20” away from the light source. Could this be a sign she wants more light? Still new to this hobby, so I’m grateful for any advice. Last photo is when she first got here last week. Thank you!

Someone help me figure out to do with this guy! Got him about a year ago, repotted once a few months after I got him. Over the last few months I’ve learned I need to stake it but I have no idea where to start since the leaves are growing every direction. Now the bottom leaves are starting to die and I don’t exactly know why. Thanks in advance!

Hello everyone I just repotted my new monstera after lovely suggestions of this group members to try to save it. Just a question about pruning, this is how some of the leaves are looking should I cut the whole leaf or just the burnt part I am so confused about it. Also I sprayed it with garden spray to remove the pests that it might have, how often should I spray it? Hopefully it will thrive again🤞
