hello! my monstera adansonii has very recently started struggling with this yellowing, which seems to also be discolouring the plants stem. i don’t think this is overwatering- if anything, i’ve been watering less than usual- but as a newbie to plants, i’m struggling to work out what the issue is. its current spot is in my bedroom window, so it’s receiving a good amount of sunlight. i intend on attaching it to some sort of pole soon to keep it stable but don’t want to do that if it’ll stress the plant more. please help!!

Mine is very picky about how moist I keep the soil, it seems to act like it’s overwatered often but I did repot and give it a little shock… How are the roots looking?

they look fine! maybe it’s my untrained eye but there’s no smell and they’re not wet or gross at all

I had to move mine from the window to under a grow light recently. It was too cold in my window and it started to droop and turn brown in some spots. Now that it’s back in the warmth it’s doing much better! 🤷🏼‍♀️ just my experience with this

That soil looks pretty dense. I would probably check the roots for rot and repot in chunky soil.
