My monstera was reported in this pot about 4 months ago. It was a white ceramic pot, but it’s developing this crusty orange web pattern all over it! What is this??? Is moisture from the soil saturating the pot and seeping through cracks in the glaze?
Hi I have a series of little brown spots. I’ve looked everywhere for signs of pests over weeks but haven’t seen any. Does anyone know what these are from? TIA
My monstera is thriving, but I’m wondering what this little protrusion is. Could it be a flower to-be? Plant pimple? What? 🧐
Couple more days 🤩🤩🤩
Can anyone tell me what causes this?
Help!!! I have a leaf on my Thai Constellation that’s turning yellow :( I haven’t changed anything with its watering/misting lately and the temp in the greenhouse is pretty consistent. I haven’t fertilized in a couple months. Does anyone have any idea what the cause may be? Just an old leaf that it’s booting off perhaps?!
i don’t have much good natural light since i moved to a different apartment i no longer have a south facing window. i got this grow light to help with the lack of light. do you think he’ll be ok with both light sources? also do you think he needs a bigger pot at some point? i feel like he’s been at a standstill with growth for a few months
Repotted this monstera about 2 weeks ago, and now a few leaves are actin up. Any tips?
I got this Swiss cheese Monstera about a week ago and just noticed it has this stuff on the leaves, anyone know what this is and what I can/should do??? 😞
My beautiful monstera (which is inside for the winter) drips from its leaves on my hardwood floors every time I water it. I read it was called guttation. Is this a sign I am watering too much. I’d prefer it not doing it inside. It seems very happy and I only water when it feels dry 3 inches down.
My monstera adapted really well to leca. It has water roots coming through the pot. I feed it foliage focus and it has a grow light a foot and a half away 😀
£30 how could I not 😍
Hello, I inherited a Monstera Deliciosa about 4 years ago. It hadn’t been trained so had grown outwards. Since having it I’ve managed to gradually train it to go up. But it’s so heavy it keeps falling over. Has anyone got any tips?
Okay so I know it’s not a good idea to repot a monstera (or any other plants) in the winter, but what about propagating? Should I wait until Spring or is it okay to propagate now? I have grow lights in lieu of sunlight as I live pretty far up North. My monstera took a pretty hard hit during a recent move and I’m hoping for any and all recommendations to get some new growth and help the plant. Thanks!
I think I’m going to need a bigger pot!
This is Bob Cheddar. He’s been here for two years now, I’ve only repotted him once. He’s huge! I mist him on a daily basis, and water every 10 days or so. He’s festive right now with his holiday lights 🤩🤣
I’ve had this monstera for over a year and it has done so well with me. This summer I put it outside to give it a little vacation and it really took off. I repotted it and brought it back inside for winter, and also started a liquid fertilizer. It’s popping off new growth everywhere. I think I’ve had between 5-7 new leaves in the last month. My concern is the brown spots on the older leaves and on some of the stems, and I am seeing little flying gnat-like bugs everywhere around this guy (pictured in the 3rd photo near the center of the leaf). Do I have a pest? What should I do?
This is Ursula & I have had her since August. She is still in the pot she was gifted to me in as a two leaf cutting, which is 4.5” and has no drainage holes. I know winter isn’t objectively the best time to repot. But, she still actively growing and doesn’t appear to be dormant, and I’m afraid leaving the repot till spring could make her really pot bound…I’m also afraid repotting her in the winter could hurt her. What is everyone else’s experiences? Wait till spring? Go ahead and repot her now (after her new leaf is done unfurling)? For reference she is back to a north facing window and gets indirect bright Sun from the south facing window directly across the room.
