Hi I have a series of little brown spots. I’ve looked everywhere for signs of pests over weeks but haven’t seen any. Does anyone know what these are from? TIA

    If there’s no sign of bugs, it could be just “mechanical damage.” Little scrapes and scars from being hit or falling. Is your plant in a place where people might brush against the leaves as they walk by?

      That’s true! It’s on the edge of my desk and I walk by everyday. I couldn’t have bumped into it.

    I’ve often seen this type of “damage” on my monsteras, I understand it as just something that occasionally happens when the leaf is unfurling… I would say I’ve seen it on prob 1 out of 10 new leaves…
