Update since my last post: Added a moss pole and grow light to my monstera. I hope the placement of the pole is okay, for now. I took out the plant from the soil and it seemed to be all one plant?? Not totally sure. I’m a newbie so feel free to give me some advice. Not sure if the placement of my tie is correct.

Greetings! I’ve seen people mention “suckers” in reference to Monsteras but I don’t know what that means. I have four Monstera plants so can someone please teach me? Here is a neat pic of two leaves that unfurled side by side, one very fenestrated and one totally Un.

Why is this happening? 😭💔 will the leaf hurt the cutting? The end of the aerial root is starting to rot now

my 8yr old son and his buddies apparently got too rowdy around one of my monsteras and broke a leaf…. So, he got crafty and made it a “cast” hoping I wouldn’t notice lmao 🤦🏻‍♀️ sorry kid, mom sees EVERYTHING! Although, after interrogating him, I found out it’s been like that for over a week and I didn’t notice, so gotta give him credit I guess!! 🤣🤣

First fenestration! Got this plant at a local farm market. It was root bound and when I repotted it there were 7 plants in a 2” pot!! This is the biggest.

Hey, I may be another overwaterer? My monstera hasn’t grown a new leaf in a couple of months (probably due to the British ‘summer’) but I’ve noticed brown spots and some yellowing now… I’ll add a photo of my other two monsteras for your viewing pleasure…

Hey all! I had a question about my monstera. I just got it last week and I am totally new to monsteras. Should I be adding a moss pole now? I cannot for the life of me figure out what side is the back. I do not see any aerial roots, and there’s at least 4 small leaves coming in. If anyone can help me that would be great.

A rather large, un-fenestrated leaf we have here.. she faces the sun too!

Hello everyone. I have this monstera that I’ve had for almost 5 years now. It’s been in this pot for about 2 years and it’s always been a healthy plant. But recently I’ve had leaves yellowing and dying, one by one. I recently put new poles in the pot which is why you see leaves turned several different directions (I did this after leaves started yelllowing In hopes it would get a bit more sun if it was climbing properly, as one of my moss poles got too heavy and started toppling) Any advice? I fertilize her and water her weekly.

I got this monstera tc maybe about a month ago and since i have been BATTLING root rot every single day. I traded the soil it originally came with much more coarse and airy stuff which dod not help, made sure to keep it in small pots, have it under a grow light and in a room with higher humidity, and it still hasnt done anything except loose more roots. Theres so little root left on it my last resort has been to put it in semi hydro, but im new to this. With the research i did i was told to keep it in the water, just at root level and to put a tiny tiny bit of hydrogen peroxide in it. Its been 3 days and one of leaves is starting to yellow. I also cleaned the leca before hand. If there are any general tips yall have PLEASE share them with me. This is my most expensive plant and id really hate to loose her. Also im just frustrated cause ive kept everything from super finicky alocasias and elephant ears alive and have 3 other HUGE thriving monsteras but this ONE refuses to let me help it. And again it cost 70$!

I recently repotted both of my monstera delisocias into (admittedly) too large pots. They’re both putting out a ton of new roots however (I assume since there’s so much space in the pot) and still giving me new leaves. Will this eventually cause problems that it’s trying to establish larger roots what seems fairly quickly or does this just means it’s healthy and thriving?

I have had this monstera for about a year now. I water it, mist and fertilize according to the app. And I’m noticing this. The top layer is dry and the soil at the bottom is damp. What is going on? I used the diagnostic thing and it said it was being over watered. It also looks like something has been eating it. I keep it sitting 1ft from a window on a table. It is still producing new leaves.

I got this monstera deliciosa around 3 weeks ago and it’s still in its nursery pot. I know some monsteras like to be a bit root bound but I was thinking maybe it is time to repot?
