Sooo donāt judge me if Iām not doing this rightš¤¦š¼āāļø tips welcome of course⦠anyway so Iāve been propagating this jade plant and I finally have some little sprouts coming up. How do I know when itās ready to plant??
baby pothos!
Hi everyone, so I already made a post about this in another group but also wanted to ask some propagating experts for some advice! So I found this on the floor of an alley and I am very shocked but some people helped me identify it as a variegated mini monstera. The odd thing is it looks like itās been propagating for quite some time. I wanted to see if you think I should continue to propagate or if it looks like itās read to be transferred to soil and also if it looks like a healthy propagation? I would really appreciate some help thank you!!
Hey guys :) just started a little herb garden and while I was propagating some green onions I decided to try to do a little dill (knowing that it probably wouldnāt work but Iāve got time and some free window sills) I actually think it looks promising so far, but I am prone to killing plants by giving too much water which is nice bc these are just chilling there Iāve got a few of these little glasses set up but let me know what you think about my most promising little guy, and if Iām going about it wrong feel free to tell me
Just to be clear, I have NEVER propagated (successfully) before. I have been trying to propagate my pothos for a hot minute now and just seem to have zero luck with progress. I am also worried Iām just slowly killing it š§āāļø SOS
This is my boyfriends moms amaryllis (I think thatās how you spell it) and it blossomed once or twice before and weāre wondering if this is a seed that we can propagate or what it is.
Hello lovelies! I have this plant, one of my faves⦠an āAlternanthera ficoidea āPartytimeāā. Iāve propagated them before and this one growth is particularly leggy. Iām wondering if I could cut her and root her, do you think a stem with no leaves would give out new leaves? Or would it be the death of that stem? Pic of original plant and plant as is right now. Curious about cutting the long stalky stem on the left of second pic. If you did, where would you cut it? Sheās very dramatic but roots quite easilyā¦
Excited for my future cut flower garden - zinnia and cosmos coming in strong!
Birkin is growing roots from āinsideā instead of bottom. Is this normal or a bad sign?
Three week Maranta prop update šØš¾āš¾ Half of the cuttings have decent roots now. Those are going back in with parent plant. The other half isnāt quite ready yet, but I do see some new growth points activating. Will give those another couple weeks in the prop station.
Tiger Lilly Bulb is peaking more and more š the one I got in water is showing progress but not like the one in the soil
We shall see if this works for me this time. I'm sowing cat grass (some unlabeled type of oat grass)oregano, basil, and parsley all to go in a three tiered planter on one tier. I'm still kinda wondering what to do for the other top one. I figured, cat grass all on the bottom, basil, oregano, and parsley can take up the second and I may even do marigolds or some petunias or something on top. Once they sprout and get a little bigger with a suitable root ball, I'll move them to their permanent home if these peat containers hold up
Any advice on how to plant this and it thrive? Iām new to planting props so I donāt know the best way to go about this. Usually I take it out of water and put it right in soil but everything I did that to died š Is it even ready to go in soil?
UPDATE from January 30 - exactly 35 days of African Mask Corm experiment . Findings: sphagnum - growing other things perlite- baby leaf success leca- one leaf unfurling pon- growing moss fluval stratum- no sign of life classic water- considerable root growth
I was given this etiolated plant - tips on how can I best cut it/propagate?? I donāt have the best success with propagating :( but want to see this plant thrive
I just stole my jade plant back from my mom, iām afraid she has root rot and I have no idea what to do, iām fairly new at trying to save plants, any advice??
Bought this plant (pothos I believe?) exactly like this and havenāt known what to do with it. If I keep it in water, how do I keep it healthy? I donāt know how to describe much about the plant haha, Iām very very new to plants. Iāll attach more pictures, please let me know anything you notice or any advice you have!!
New to the plant world! Iāve never propagated anything before but just wondering if anyone had any tips and tricks and recommendations on plants that are easy to prop! Thank you!
Hi! Although these succulent leaves aren't very healthy, can I still propagate them? Thanks!
