I got this Alocasia Polly Mint about 3 weeks ago and repotted her (first photo is when I first brought her home). Sheâs looking pretty rough now and the Planta app says itâs transplant shock. I donât see any bugs, webs or crawling specs but Iâm genuinely so terrified of thrips. I have quite the regime when I bring plants home to prevent them. Can anyone attest this truly is transplant shock and or have any tips? Iâve never dealt with it before!

Hi all, got this stunning Alocasia about 2.5 weeks ago. It was in a tiny pot so repotted him and since then heâs pushed out a new leaf (see small leaf in images). I can only assume the new leaf post potting means it is settling in well, but Iâm concerned at how much the 2 leaves either side drooping so much. East facing window gets lovely direct-light in the morning but post 10am itâs more indirect. Are these just dramatic plants? Or something I could be changing? All leaves feel great, no discolouring, or crispiness etc

Hi lovely plant lovers! I have this elephant ear dark star plant but I donât know why, she keeps changing the leaves. Drops the oldest and get new one right away, but I canât seem to make it more than 3-4 leaves at a time. I repotted 4-5 months ago but still does the same. Any idea and what can I do to make her keep the leaves?

I swear these little "pouches" were purposely designed to harbor spider mites!! Im doing my best fighting to keep the little a-holes out of my house!! But!! BUT, it seems no matter what measures taken this little cutie breeds them like no tomorrow!! She is little because Ive cut her back to the soil once already. On top of preventative spraying all of my plants, I keep this one covered with diatomaceous earth, (not enjoyable) when a new leaf unfurls-bam! Im so close to "gifting" this plant and never bring one back in to my home. If anyone has other suggestions, please share. I'm beyond desperate

does anybody have any idea what kind of alocasia this is? itâs got thin, shiny, flat leaves. i think the leaves are too thin to be a green unicorn, and since iâve ruled that one out iâve been stumped. any ideas guysâŠ?

Repotted and moved an Alocasia Low Rider from soil to pon about 2 months ago. Found a hand full of corms in the root ball. Now a few of these were lose in the root ball and some I pulled off. Got a big surprise when some of the larger ones started growing. I'm guessing the nursery must have reused a pot and soil because these are not Low Riders. I'm pretty sure these are baby Black Velvets. I recently bought a Black Velvet but at the time of this report we didn't and have never owned one. Isn't she beautiful. We have 3 of them like this nowđ
