Hello!! This is Reno and I have had her for a couple of years, however I am having a hard time keeping her petioles from falling over. Help!!

      It has a grow light for 9 hours a day

      You want to aim for 12 hours with growlights. Also distance is very important. Growlights loose effectiveness quickly the farther away they are. Best to use a light meter to ensure the light is adequate.

    This can also happen with too much light.

      it has been having the same issue with 4 hours of light and 9 hours of light.

    wind! get a fan. the only way you stimulate it to make stronger petioles is to give it wind. i have a fan on in my room 24/7 and my alocasias never flop over unless that leaf is on it's way out.

    Mine only just started doing this once my (very rude) monstera moved its leaf to got all the grow light from the cuprea. I gave it an extra long soak for its last watering and got it to a spot with more light. I have had a box fan blowing on low at my plants for almost 2 months now and jt has definitely strengthened the majority of the petioles on my plants to where they dont flop over unless they need something.
