Hi all, got this stunning Alocasia about 2.5 weeks ago. It was in a tiny pot so repotted him and since then he’s pushed out a new leaf (see small leaf in images). I can only assume the new leaf post potting means it is settling in well, but I’m concerned at how much the 2 leaves either side drooping so much. East facing window gets lovely direct-light in the morning but post 10am it’s more indirect. Are these just dramatic plants? Or something I could be changing? All leaves feel great, no discolouring, or crispiness etc

    Alocasias tend to only keep 2 or 3 leaves when they are young, so it's not unusual for an older leaf to drop off as new ones come out. As they mature they will start to keep more and more of them.

    Thank you, so do I need to prune or just leave as they are and they’ll eventually die off?

      Leave at for a while. as long as it is green it is helping the plant.
