Can you guys help me figure these little guy out his use to be so big and green with some burn from the sun. Now he has his leaves back still yellowing and seems to be curled a bit. When I got it I planted him in the ground it was doing ok but slow to grow and getting burned so I potted him in a pot recently. In 3 months I’ll repot in pon. What do you think..? Please help
Help! My dragon scale seemed perfectly fine earlier, but when I got home from work I noticed that this leaf had completely flopped over. The stem is still firm and it shouldn’t be a watering issue, but I don’t know if it has something to do with the new growth or what.
Hi friends, I really want to get an alocasia frydek varigata, does anyone know where I can order corms online?
my nairobi nights is doing something cool! i’m assuming these are all growing corms that are above the soil which i didn’t know was a thing! and of course the one pup :)
Think this corm is ready for soil?
What are these two guys on my alocasia?
My neighbor just brought her dragon scale over and asked if I could fix it. 😳 I only have experience with a very slow growing Polly that I absolutely baby. Can anyone please tell me what is going on with this dragon? The soil is damp but not wet from top to bottom. She said it was in the back of her house in the window so that is east facing. I have no idea where to start. I was thinking it could be our well water because we have higher levels of lime but I just don’t know. Any help would be appreciated. I really want to save it. It’s a super cool plant. 🪴
This alocasia has done me no wrong being in soil— my Black Velvet however, might be my stepping stone into trying Pon.
I’ve fought with my alocasias from day one, but I must’ve started doing something right. Each of my plants has put out a new leaf in the past week or so. All those lighting tweaks, soil upgrades, humidity changes, etc. are worth it in the end! It’s so exciting to get new leaves instead of loosing them for a change!! 🎉
What kind of Alocasia is this? Thanks in advance
I SWORE I WASNT gonna try another one. Clearly I’m lying to myself. Does anyone have one in pon? I tried leca - TWICE. This one is smaller than the last two. Currently in a 3” pot. Any other tips for the Sulawesi?! I have a Pink Dragon that is up and down (always - typical) SUPER chunky mix. I also successfully transferred my Bisma to leca a a month or so and her roots are going CRAZY!
I just had to share. My Okinawa Silver put in a new leaf recently and it’s PURE WHITE! ❤️
Hi guys I noticed the tiniest bugs in my soil, smaller than a flea I couldn’t take a pic. What can they be?😩🖤🪴
Welcome home Mr.Mojito
This baby is browning on the edge of its leaf, any help on how to fix it?
My first ever new leaf on this alocasia - and the biggest one yet! 😍
Hey guys! So, I bought a 100pc pack of seeds from Amazon to grow an alocasia zebrina and this is what I got? I’m not sure what to do with this since I was expecting a bulb ? Have you guys seen this before? I really want to try to grow them so if you know anything that can help, lmk! 🥺🥺
My first black velvet leaf, she’s healthy and so much bigger than all the other leaves on her. 🤩
I recently got this alocasia from a local, he said he had just put it in leca. It looked perfect when I picked it up, but not one of the leaves is going bad :( should I keep it in the leca? I’ve never used leca before either, do I always keep water at the bottom of the leca? Thank you!!
