Hey friends! Thank you for all of the advice on my snowflake aloe! I decided to pull “Iris” out and repot her because her roots were starting to come out of the dirt (yikes) so I gave her a bigger home, it’s also water day! so it was perfect and so far she seems happy with it but only time will tell!

Hi! I am a NEW plant mama, and trying to figure out how to care for my new plant babies. I think I started by overwatering them, so I pumped the brakes. The also had some of them on top of a block on an old school radiator (I keep my house at 65 degrees when I’m home, 60 when I’m away) but I moved a few of them because I felt like they could be getting too warm/dried out, and ALL my plants get ample light during the day (open the curtains, lots of windows, etc) . I’m wondering what else I can do to rejuvenate them. I’ll see if I can attach a few pictures of the ones I have concerns about. Does anyone have any advice? Also how regularly should I be watering these?

This is quite an embarrassing post, but I am no pro when it comes to succulents. I received this plant and pot for free at an event at uni. Unfortunately, it’s been through quite a bit. I never created a consistent watering schedule, and it endured cold snaps while at the dorms without air conditioning. (I live in a region with extremely cold winters, so we would open the windows when the it was too hot indoors.) also, I was never told the species to care for it properly. I’m wondering if it’s already dead. Over the past year, it has completely lost all its “leaves.” I’ve attached an old photo for reference (Im sorry for the poor angle).

Hello! I’m new to keeping plants. My Mexican Snowball (that’s what I think it is at least) has a few sprouts!! Do I do something about this or just let it keep growing like this? I think this plant is outgrowing its planter so I can repot it. Any recommendations on what size pot to put it in? Thanks for any advice!

Everyone helped me in October with my Jade plant that ripped at the base. I’m so excited my mom gave it back to me after she helped it recover!! Any tips to keep it going would be appreciated. 💚🥳

Hi! I picked up my first string of buttons yesterday and I noticed when I bought it that the tops were super flimsy and just fell over (see below). Is this normal or is this guy really over watered? After looking at other pics, I think that they’re supposed to be standing straight up on their own? Lol

I have a few younger plants that, according to the app, prefer full sun; but I keep them in my kitchen window with partial sun. Anyone have an opinion for not immediately putting younger plants out into full sun? I also have a fairy washboard (1-2 yrs age) that has done fairly well in the window. The fairy washboard has grown quite well but is starting to brown a bit. Below is the snow prickly pair ( around 6 mo old). I fear moving it would cause it to die. Especially with summer around the corner (Arizona).

Hi everyone! I’ve had my jade plant for over 4 months now, but I am having trouble figuring out when I should water it. I’m aware that they are resilient plants but I want to do my best to take care of it. At the moment some leaves look like they’re ready for water while others still seem plump. Yet I’ve found a couple of leaves at the base of the plant that are wrinkly/mushy and also light green colour. I’ve attached a few photos to get a better idea, as well as a photo of where I typically have it. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Anyone know what this white stuff is on my jades? Best way to remedy it if it’s a concern?

I think I need to repot this guy but when is a good time to do that? It has tripled in size since I got it and want to give it time to grow. Any advice?

I understand that they shouldn’t decrease in size as they grow; I just don't know what to do differently. Any helpful tip would be appreciated.
