My aloe had a glow up! ✨
My snake plant broke its pot! Any advice on repotting? I’ve never been successful.
Update: the plant is doing much better! After pulling it farther from and to the side of the window it started turning green within a day or two, and is now fully green on the main plant. (I also repotted the aloe to another pot and it’s doing better as well, and even has a baby chute!) I have also started watering less and wait for the soil to be fully dry before watering again. Thank you to everyone for your advice, it really helped! Updated pictures of both plants of both plants have been added to this post. Anyone know what kind of plant this is? I tried using google image search and it was saying aloe Vera, but it most likely is not. It also used to be green (like aloe), but didn’t have white spots or anything. Also does anyone know why it would have turned this color? It used to be a mid green color and now it’s dark red/purple/brown. For context this plant is in a lined wooden pot with an aloe Vera plant (the other plant pictured, and who is also not doing terribly great)
Can anyone explain to me what happened to my succulent? She was big and beautiful before and now she's stretched and tiny.
I have had mountain ball cacti (Pediocactus simpsonii) before and I am getting a new one. I have kept them in pots down to 0 degrees Fahrenheit in pots, and my neighbors have kept them at -15 degrees Fahrenheit. However, Planta says that it can only go to 23 degrees Fahrenheit in pots. What is happening?
Hey All. I'm traveling soon and will be away for 3-4 months. Most of my cacti are outside. When is the best time to bring inside as winter may get very cold with snow. Also, what's the best way to water while away?
I just want to brag on “Big Beauty”!!! 😍 She is doing phenomenally well outside here in Bama!
This one stem/leaf is droopy. Also starting to turn brown and dry. I’m new to these. Looking for recommendations, do I cut it off, or leave it alone?
Thanks to everyone that recommended the grow light! I repotted and have kept her under the light and she’s looking pretty good again :)
Anyone have recommendations for good gardening gloves for handling cacti?
Who is this little guy? Planta keeps saying it’s jade but it looks different.
Hi! I’m looking for some succulent recommendations for this cute pot. I think a trailing, easy to care for succulent would look really good in this, but I’m open to more ideas. Thanks
Can someone let me know if this is a flower coming up or a pup on my succulent? This is my first try at keeping succulents alive. Thank you
My jade plant cutting. Also can anyone tell me what cultivator variety of jade plant it is.
The bunny succulent has its ears!
Any tips? So far, the lithops grew roots however seem a bit wrinkly even though I watered but I’ll leave them be. My conophytum still hasn’t rooted but hopefully it likes this new soil mix. My cactus I grew from a seed and recent put him in this pot since I think the full organic was getting too much
My bag fell and hit my succulent! Ripped part of her off :( I’m new with succulents but should I remove the remaining part that’s now exposed? Is there a specific way to do so? And could I use either of these parts to grow another succulent?
New and first Titanopsis. I have already repotted it into a wider pot now.
My first Elephant Bush. I got lucky and found it when the seller was downsizing! Its huge!
Anyone know how to get this lil baby out of here, or if I should leave in there? I’ve heard something about the mother plant dying once it creates a lil babe..
