Just a couple of new babies.
Rooting cacti..... so i recieved pups from my parents in Dec, they are seemingly fine. No discoloration and firm. However still not rooting!!! Is there some trick to this? I have some things I was going to try with humidity levels, but don't want to lose the pups, so figured I'd ask if any of the Cacti people know of a good tips.
Shiba Inu said it’s been one week, let’s wait 2 more weeks to see some hair growing. Just brought this cute shiba rice bowl and drilled a bottom hole, I will just keep the soil dry until the roots come out
Hi all! I’ve had this aloe plant for almost 4 years now. Recently, the bottom leaves on the plant have either shriveled up and dried out or the tips of the leaves have started to turn reddish-brown. The top of the plant is fine. It’s 1-2 ft from a south facing window and has been in this spot for 2 years no problem. No extreme temperature changes or deviations from its watering/fertilizing schedule… any clue what could be going on??
Hi, I'm trying to help my mom take care of this succulent she got as a gift for Christmas. From what I've been told, it's supposed to be an Echeveria Rainbow. She initially planted it in a ceramic pot that didn't have very good drainage and watered it whenever the top bit of soil seemed dry. It started dying, so she transplanted it into a different ceramic pot with better drainage, then watered it well afterward. This was about a couple weeks ago. It hasn't been watered since, but now the leaves are shriveling up and falling off. The strange thing is, it's also had new leaves come up. Would anybody have any ideas about what's wrong with it and how we could fix it? Thank you!
I understand it's not a succulent, but it's close lol. I bought this bromelaid as a tiny plant from the dying section at lowes. When I bought it it was 1 plant, mostly burgundy with some green and white spots all over it. It has multiple many times over, but it's lost its burgundy color and none of the new sprouts have any spots. Can anyone tell me what happened? Can I do something to get the burgundy color back? 😩
My aloe has these weird brown spots but it seems healthy otherwise. They’re on quite a few leaves but these two are the worse, but they don’t seem to be rotting or anything… could it be sunburn, overwatering, or is it something worse-?
What is wrong with my Jade plant ?
Ive got some succulent seeds in the cart to buy. But as far as starting them, just use a regular peat based mix and put under a humidity dome? Or no humidity dome? Which works best?
**succulent care & plant ID** Hi all! I recently potted these succulents in Succulent Miracle-Gro and I’m wondering…did I just completely doom them? The soil doesn’t seem all that great. I also purchased Rosy soil so my questions are: should I repot my succulents in the Rosy soil and if so will they be ok until another month or so when it’s warmer?? Also, could anyone ID this cactus?? (Last photo) Thank you!!
Hi guys! So i’m a new succulent mom and I fear I went a little in over my head with a Snowflake Aloe Vera & I was wondering if this is a result of root rot? I am utterly heartbroken, when i was checking my plants, I noticed this little guy barely hanging on and when i touched it, it kinda just softly came off in my hand. But everything looks healthy so Im confused. Thank you in advance!
🆘 I am looking for help in getting my cacti pups to root. They fall off & I try to get them to callous than I put them in succulent soil mixed with coffee grounds and water… is there anything I’m missing?
Total newbie here! I made the mistake of repotting my constrained Aloe (pictured on the left) in regular potting soil in a glazed pot. It started doing very poorly almost right away, so a few days later I repotted it again in cactus soil in a terracotta pot. The middle picture is last Saturday, and the rightmost picture is this morning (2 days after repotting). Still some way to go be be totally healthy, but I see an improvement. All this to say, lesson learned on following recommended soils. I think my aloe (Mal) will pull through!
Hey guys, I’m looking to buy a cactus but I don’t have much experience 🫤 are there any recommendations for some easy to take care of cacti that are hard to kill? TIA!!!❤️
My Mother of Thousands is six foot tall and just bloomed for the first time. Soooo pretty!
Blooms and new babies 😍😍
My string of dolphins never seems very happy the top is always bald and dry feeling even though I keep it watered and it sort of feels like the soil is eroding a little in there IDK cuz it's hanging out but any thoughts 🫶🪴🐬
Hi dear C&S parents. I have a question about repotting. Should I repot this molded wax succulent in a bigger pot this spring? I re-potted it last year and it doesn’t look root-bound to me. However, it looks a little bit too big for the current pot. What do you think? Many thanks! X 🌿
yall know what this is?
