So in love with the coloring on this š¤©
Aww my K. fedtschenkoi has little babies! (Still canāt get him to flower though š)
I just bought these seeds does anybody know the best way to grow them
Is this brownish/rusty colour that started to appear at the bottom area of my zebra plant normal due to maturation or is it overwatered? Iāve had this gal since the end of May. Sheās been living on my dining room table ever since, which is positioned in front of a large southwest facing front window. Iāve largely followed Plantaās advice and itās always seemed happy and even seems to be sprouting a couple of babies. Planta does say itās placed too dark but Iāve disregarded that as Planta isnāt my taking the window size into account (plus, the jade and aloe that are in the same spot are fine). It was last watered 12 days ago, due to be watered again today but I would snooze that as the soilās slightly damp. Hopefully I havenāt hurt herš¤š¤
Anybody know whatās going on? Iāve got some kind of almost burning on the leaves of my jade plants and unsure whatās happening. Theyāve been thriving and healthy in these spots for months.
Hey all! I have this jade cutting Iāve been propagating since 7/25/24. I let the cutting callus over and then put it straight into cactus/succulent potting mix soil. Itās been sitting at my east facing window the whole time. Can anyone tell my if these are roots growing out of the stem, not in the soil? š what do I do with it? Iām afraid to check the soil to see if roots grew in there because I donāt want to mess up anything that might be growing. Should I cut at the roots and propagate in soil from there?
Love when this guy blooms!
Jade plant leafs are soft, dark green on top and this brown/red color underneath. The stem also won't stand up after a repot. Advice? I've repotted, changed soil, and done a hydrogen peroxide soak.
š¤š¼š¤š¼ hoping I did this correctly š¬
I just got this plant today I had to repot it due to overgrowth but Iām not sure if this is enough sunlight or if I should move it. Also Iām accepting any criticism and just tips for growing this plant Iām also getting a bigger pot this is just for right now
i just recently moved back to college and took my aloe plant with me. i noticed gnats were starting to swarm the plant near the soil. does anybody have any solutions or know what to do in this situation??
Looking for help please and thank you! My fishbone cactus has a strand that is turning brown. The top soil 2ā down is dry, soil inside the drainage hole on the bottom is damp. The plant doctor said itās overwatered so Iām going to let it dry out a bit. Should I leave that strand alone or should I cut it off and possibly propagate it? There are 3 little babies on the end so I would like to save them somehow if possible. Whatās the best way to propagate it? This is the first succulent I havenāt killed (yet). TIA
I have some echeveria that arenāt in the plant database it seems. When that happens, I know you can suggest a plant to be added but is there a way to check on that submission? Will I get notified if it was added? (Iām new to the app so I may have just not found it? Idk lol) TIA!
I got this string of rubies as a rescue and itās in a pot without drainage, basically root bound, and the top of the soil is low in the pot. Any tips to try and prevent losing half the leaves when I repot? Or should I just accept that thatās probably going to happen no matter what I do?
Is my watch chain getting too much light? Iāve read some conflicting things about its light needs. It already had some dryness up the stalks when I got it, and itās started to divide a little bit, but Iām still not sure. I have it in a north/nw facing window that gets 4 hours of direct afternoon sunlight. Itās also currently under a grow light thatās on 8 hours a day starting in the morning, but I can move it out from under the grow light but still be on the window sill if thatās an issue. An east facing window with 3 hours of morning light is also an option.
hello! im an absolute beginner and I was wondering if the brownish spines were normal?
I got these two humilis over a year ago at the peak of my Copiapoa mania. They immediately bloomed like maniacs, and then I let them get root-bound (rookie move that both ruined plants and taught me a bit about how the heck succulent roots work). I assumed the compact one was on its way out, but here we are.
This guy just keeps throwing out these pink things. Iām use to Cati flowering but these are unusual. Anyone have any input? Theyāre like a fruit with seeds inside but theyāve never flowered.
Found this pot and knew exactly what I wanted to put in it!
Does anyone have an idea if this is root rot? I just got her today and I havenāt inspected the roots yet, any opinions would be helpful!
