I had an idea. Here it is haha. Five types of Euphorbia (all clipped from my plants) in what looks like a Thunderdome situation. Depending on the source, the debate of filtered vs direct light for various Euphorbia differs. Iām going to figure that out.
Anyone know what plant this is?
Hi, I have this cactus that had rot and I removed it and now Iām wondering if itās looking good or not. Also is that a flower coming?
Can anyone tell me what this quirky guy is called??
Does anyone knows why my Euphorbia obessa is looking like this? I know she is needing a new pot, but I am getting ready to move and I donāt want to do this until I am settle and have her new happy spot. But I am not sure why she is like this.
My string of hearts gave me a triplet growth??
Help! Plant newb here šš» Iāve had this cactus for about 2.5 years. After a year I finally figured out how to properly water cactuses and he was doing so well that he needed a bigger pot (there was originally 2 but then he grew 2 babies)⦠well thatās when the issues started. Mistakes were made in this process and I caused root rot with improper soil/drainage. (This was done in the fall) After figuring this out and losing one of the babies šā¦ I cleaned up the rot, repotted him in proper soil etc.. (I did this 15 days ago) he seemed to be doing much better again. Had regained some colour. Well⦠now Iāve noticed the smallest one has a huge black spot on the back.. anyone know what to do?⦠is this a sign that heās healing from the rotā¦? Or that I didnāt do well enough cleaning it off and heās still rotting?? I misted the soil a few days after cleaning him up but otherwise have not watered him at all since. (The new soil was dry) *last photo is from the day I cleaned him up
Any specific thing I need to do to take care of my succulents flowering? šŖ·
This is my aloe plant today 1/10/24. I have to get a pot that has wholes in it but other than that Iām not sure if itās growing healthy or if thereās anything I can do to help it grow healthy if itās not. Does anyone have tips on how I canāt make it look better if it needs it?
Hi everyone. Is someone able to identify this plant? Planta says itās a variety of Stonecrop but Iām not certain about thatā¦thanks in advance!!
Hello! Does anyone know what kind of cactus Carl is? Thank you!šµ
Is this an ideal setup?
I need your help I bought myself a Birthday Present š¤ I purchased a String of Hearts at an online website and this is what I got personally I donāt like the appearance and well itās in a 2ā pot terracotta. What can I do to make it look healthier. It looks a mess as if they ran out of plants and practically tie it together. And itās not the case for the other plant I purchased. NāJoy Pothos
Succulent question for all you from the Midwest⦠Iām from MN & been reading different succulent blogs. People mention placing indoor succulents outside in the summer. Has anyone done this? Iām a little scared to do this because of bringing bugs back into the house in the fall when it becomes too cold outside. Iām tempted to leave well enough alone and keep my plants indoors near windows year round. Thanks for your thoughts & perspectives! āŗļø
just started noticing these white spots on my bunny ear cactus. is there something i should do to try to get rid of/treat these spots. when i first got her she was so gorgeous and i wanna keep her that way :(
Hi I have a few points and questions I would like to ask about my succulents, 1. starting with the fact that Iāve had these succulents for about a month now and they still havenāt really rooted, and Iām wondering if thatās bad or is it just winter and I need to wait longer or what. 2. Secondly I have a stonecrop that was etiolating, and so I got a grow light to provide more light and I have seen some visible improvements in the color, but I have also noticed there have been a few leaves that have began turning yellow and shrivelling. It also lots many leaves when it was etiolating and Iām wondering they will grow back or not. 3. I have this cactus that had rot and I removed it and now Iām wondering if itās looking good or not. 4. My Echeveria has some yellow shriveled leaves and Iām wondering jf itās ok.
Iām a younger teen and Iām VERY new to plants, but Iād really like to own and take care of some but I donāt know whatās best for me to start with? Iām interested in succulents, cactuses, generally smaller potted plants and carnivorous plants and Iām willing to put in the time and effort to care for them! I donāt want to start taking care of one and it end up too difficult and it dies, I just donāt know what kind of plant(s) to start with.. any recommendations?
Can anyone tell me whatās wrong with my prickly pear? Sheās 35 years old and I repotted because it was well over due! My grandma gave her to me and I want to keep her alive. Worried about this brown/yellow color, any ideas or advice?
What recommendations do you guys have for grow lights and heating mats? Iāve done research on how to use them properly, but I donāt know what brand is good and which ones are scam. I have succulents and avocado seedlings.
