What can actually survive & thrive in this lil 10' Spring Iron Prism Planter? Since I have started using Planta, it seems many plants need drainage. I purchased it years ago with growing herbs on my window sill in mind. Any ideas would be graciously appreciated. Thanks!🌵🪴🌻🌲🌴🍁
I bought Jessie on Monday on clearance for 50% off ($8). It's my 1st Aglaonema. She is bone dry! Has 3 new leaves coming out. A new stalk? (Is that what is called?) coming out of the soil, along with many roots. Question is, should she be repotted with new soil now vs putting more soil over to cover the roots vs waiting until spring? Should I water it and repot after the leaves open up? So many questions? What do you guys think for this scenario? Thanks in advance! Also what is WG in the name stand for?
Does anyone know what these white dots are? I have been told it might be mold fertilizer… but I’m not for sure so I’m asking on here. I have gotten rid of them before and added new soil but it keeps coming back

🚨‼️In search of advice‼️🚨 My partner bought me a ginseng ficus for our 6 year anniversary and I keep doing the wrong thing. The leaves keep yellowing. I’m currently watering with the schedule the app recommends and misting occasionally. This is the first “medium” difficult plant I have cared for and I do not want to watch it slowly die. I moved her to a south facing window today to see if it helps. I have spotted yellow leaves that were not present this morning though and I’m starting to worry more. Do I need to repot? There are roots coming out of the bottom and top. I just need advice if anyone can tell what I’m doing wrong :[
Hey guys, so i became a plant mom like a month ago but then my birthday came around and i am flooded with 14 plants as a first time plant mom and I NEED TIPS. When should I repot my money tree and my elephant ear plant? and should i be fertilizing in the winter since they’re indoor? and my trade scantia leaves are getting little dry brown spots on it lately and i’m not sure what to do. Also tips for the best overall soil and remedies for dry air?
My grandmother enlisted my help cleaning her house and I found this giant Aloe plant growing out of the pot! It has to have been growing like this for years. Any ideas how to get it seated back inside the pot? Thanks!

I am looking to repot some of my monsteras soon and need everything from pots to fertilizer to soil. What are some of your go-tos and where do you get them?
This is catnip. First time growing it. I have no idea what to do next for this plant! Do I cut the leaves now that it’s bloomed and how do I do it? I don’t want to harm it and kill it by ignorance! 😫 help!
I recently found a love for houseplants when my best friend gifted me a propagated spider plant from her home as a house warming gift to me. The first photo is of her when she was gifted to me … the second was taken today. My question for all you plant parents out there is how do I encourage her to grow thicker/fuller? My Hoya that I’ve had for two years has new leaves that are a different shape. Is this normal? I’m used to seeing the round very thick leaves.
My orchid is growing a new stem and idk what to do now that it is growing. I usually kill these but after it was dying I put it in a corner and forgot about it. Now new stem. Any words of advice would be helpful.
i've been trying to incorporate egg shells into my soil mixture but i'm not having a lot of luck if i bake them will they not have a foul smell?

Another update on my zygo root rot rescue mission that I started in July. WE HAVE BUDS! I never expected it to bloom this year after all the trauma — even when I noticed the new leaf growth and the restored stability in the pot I hadn’t imagined it would be up to blooming. But here we are! Interestingly, this was purchased with white blooms. Year after year the blooms have been slowly reverting to what I supposed was the host plant’s original pink blooms. This big reset seems to have sent them back to white potentially? Stay tuned…
My plant setup has several plants under grow light for a 12 hour cycle due to needing more direct sun and my grow lights aren’t particularly strong. Should I reduce the timer on the lights for winter hours in my location or should I keep everything the same?
Hey everyone I have some plants I need some help with: 1. The pink one are those stems flowers? Or are they going to be babies? It’s not happening with my other two.. 2. This ZZ Has stayed the same for 6 months or more, there is a healthy bulb, but not a lot of roots, it doesn’t show any new roots so I don’t know what to do. Both are in a south west facing window, and get a lot of light, the temperature is about 70° and they’re both watered as per the planta app, I haven’t watered the ZZ in a while because someone told me to water it less. I just watered both today.
