New plant parent here! There’s a couple pretty expensive plant stores near me that sell beautiful plants but have a limited selection for anything else plant care. I am looking to repot some of my monsteras soon and need everything from pots to fertilizer to soil. What are some of your go-tos and where do you get them?
I tend to go to Amazon or Etsy for my supplies. I love a good clear tall pot so I can see what’s going on with the roots and take up more vertical than horizontal space. I get those from Etsy from a seller called TheNichePlants. I also use Etsy to get my pon from Tezulas shop there. Most of my add-ins for my medium I get from Amazon. I have a long list of things that I like to add into my soil, but the main thing you’ll want, especially with monsteras, is good drainage if you’re planting in soil and not semi hydro. I like some chunky orchid bark and perlite mixed in. I also tend to add a bit of horticultural charcoal. I’m sure someone here has a good recipe for monsteras. I typically grow my monsteras in pon since they can be drama queens.

The Mose Pole has some great plastic pots, and they're cheap. I just some of their translucent black ones, they're cool. Naked roots is a nice pot maker. As far as soil i mix my own. Sol Soil makes a nice pre-made chunky mix so does Rosysoil. FFertilizer I'd try your local farm supply. Amazon is kinda expensive for those in comparison. Tractor supply, costal, wilco, etc. I use different ones depending on plant. Maxsea, superthrive, foxfarm, and 'instant plant food'. Instant plant food i buy direct from them, they have a subscription. I need them to come out with a bulk option 😆
