I wrote a post, maybe a week ago, about the problems my pepperomia is having, but didnât get any real answers as to what is going on with it. I went to check it out today, and I think it was worse. I noticed in one spot, there were actually dark bubbles on the front of a leaf. If anybody can DX this for me, Iâd sure appreciate it!
Help! I am making my own soil mix. I found a recipe that is 50% Fox Farm Ocean Forest, 25% perlite, and 25% orchid bark. I have everything except the orchid bark. All I found was orchid potting mix, not orchid bark. Where can I buy some? I am located in the US.
I had planned on repotting Goldy in the spring, because sheâs pretty unwieldy. However, when I took her to the sink for a bath and drink, it seems her roots are coming out the bottom. So, I guess she will be getting an extreme haircut and a new pot. Maybe I can get some good variegation back in her with a good prune and a location change. And if not, thatâs good too.

I got Dave about a week ish ago. He sits in my window. I repotted him the day I got him since he was in a super small pot. I was wondering if this is ok for his leaves to do this or what I should do about it? Heâs a spider plant

Does anyone put a grow light on your snake plant? Wondering if itâll like it. The rest of my plants love grow lights but didnât know if it will burn a snake plant.
Any tips/advice for fertilizing plants using a self watering rope? Iâm new to fertilizing my house plants, but am going to give it a try per the appâs instructions. The first plant Iâm to fertilize is my fiddly fig that is self-watered. Itâs fiddly and Iâm nervous! Do I add the fertilizer to the self-watering reservoir or top water it? TIA!!

Hi all! Looking for a little inspiration for my trandescantia. I had her on a trellis but she overgrew it and it couldnât stand her weight đ pic 1 is before detangling her. Pic 2 is where we landed in a new pot after she lost some stems in the process. I basically just put all the vines on top of each other so my cat didnât eat her đ Wondering what creative things other people have done to display their trandescantia?
Hello Planta community! New gardener here. Last fall I created my first garden. Itâs all perennials and ornamental grasses in the âNaturalistic Styleâ. Iâm wondering if I should cut all these plants down before spring like I would if they were established. Theyâve only been in the ground since early October and are very small. Figured Iâd start here for guidance before searching each individual plant. My plants include: Anise Hyssop, Amsonia Hubrichtii, Amsonia Blue Ice, Aster Eastern Star, Calamagrostis Acutiflora, Deschampsia Cespitosa, Echinacea Purpuria, Rattlesnake Master, Festuca Glauca Elijah Blue, Allium Millenium, Little Blue Stem, Hakenochloa Grass, Little Spire Russian Sage, Rudbeckia American Gold, Sedum Autumn Joy.
