So, I’ve always liked plants, but never this much. I’ve always had a succulent or something on my desk and that was kind of where it ended. That was until a friend gave me a baby mung bean plant and it sort of spiraled from there. I now also have an orchid, 2 nerve plants (a regular and a white tiger), 2 peperomias (a schumi red and a San Marino), a rattlesnake Calathea, and I think 5-7 succulents or something like that. I’m planning on making all of them ceramic pots (with drainage wholes), and I’ll make sure they’re a little bigger than what they’re in right now. I’m also a photographer so I’ll probably use them as a subject in some of my shots once their pots are done. I know some of these plants are sort of dramatic, but after the hours of research I’ve done I think I’m pretty confident in keeping them alive lol, but I need all the advice I can get. If anyone knows anything about these plants just let me know 😁 Thanks!!! TLDR: I need plant advice on my new plants. I’m a beginner.

Hey guys ! How would you protect each of these plants for winter ? Arbor-vitae on the left and Boxwood buis green on the right. I brought them inside temporarily, but I can't keep them where they are and need to put them back outside.

I have put some herbs in a pallet. The herbs are mint, rosemary, thyme, parsley and lavender. It’s becoming autum and the plants are quite small, will they survive the winter?

Has anyone figured out a way to override the warnings? App is telling me some of my plants are in too sunny of places, but I know they’re happy where they are. The warning message just bugs me.

Anybody know why this rubber plant is heavily growing from one branch but not the other? It’s from the same root system but one half has been lacking for the past 6 months.

My asparagus fern has a tonne of roots growing out the bottom of the pot, but will repotting in October kill it? Should I wait until the spring? I have a couple of plants that are also starting to root out the bottom, but not as bad. Thoughts on repotting in fall? Thanks!

Plant rescue Question- What is a good fertilizer (your favorite) for house plants?

Wanted to share a fun discovery I found at my local nursery. I was heartbroken to go in and find out that after 73 years in my hometown, they’re closing for good, so when I spotted this trailing jade, I just couldn’t let it end up in a landfill or something after someone clearly cared for it for some time. I got it for $15, and to my surprise, I found 5 mystery plants hidden underneath the leaves of the trailing jade. I’ve given the other plants their own pots and plan on giving them to some friends once they grow a little more. (For anyone in the Southeast PA area, please give County Line Nursery a little thanks for all their years with the community, and they’re trying to sell what they can till the end of the month, so please feel free to support them while you can. It was very sad to see their greenhouse so empty with plants, but I hope the ones that haven’t sold yet find some good homes.)

Can someone tell me what type of plant this is? I’ve tried numerous plant identifier apps and none of the results seem to match. Thanks!

Hi Everyone, is this what a typical polka dot begonia looks like? It is just growing one long stem no branching
