So, I’ve always liked plants, but never this much. I’ve always had a succulent or something on my desk and that was kind of where it ended. That was until a friend gave me a baby mung bean plant and it sort of spiraled from there. I now also have an orchid, 2 nerve plants (a regular and a white tiger), 2 peperomias (a schumi red and a San Marino), a rattlesnake Calathea, and I think 5-7 succulents or something like that. I’m planning on making all of them ceramic pots (with drainage wholes), and I’ll make sure they’re a little bigger than what they’re in right now. I’m also a photographer so I’ll probably use them as a subject in some of my shots once their pots are done. I know some of these plants are sort of dramatic, but after the hours of research I’ve done I think I’m pretty confident in keeping them alive lol, but I need all the advice I can get. If anyone knows anything about these plants just let me know 😁 Thanks!!! TLDR: I need plant advice on my new plants. I’m a beginner.

Yeah I was planning on glazing the pot, I bought a moisture meter today actually so I’m planning on using it to check, but that’s good to know! Thanks!

From my experience with peperomia, a ceramic pot might hold too much moisture for them than they need, and could lead to overwatering or root rot. If you’re worried about overwatering them, I’d try a terra cotta pot, but if you’re not worried about overwatering them, try a plastic one. Hope this helps!
