This is the first time this cactus has flowered since owning it, I cant believe how many it has produced.
I woke up to 2× beautiful flowers blooming on my cactus this morning. There are still another 4 to open when they're ready, I can't wait......
Still holding on.
Most of my plants flowered this summer. Not pictured fully (it’s in the corner of the first pic): a very stinky watch chain. It started flowering in May and hasn’t stopped at all. At first, I could tolerate the smell and then two days ago, it was starting to interfere with my appetite (can smell it from the dinner table), and I got rid of it.
Got this plant early spring. During all of spring and summer it didn’t grow at all. No new sprouts, shoots absolutely nothing. I started to think although green that maybe it’s dormant or dead. Watered and fertilized regularly. Still nothing. Then in the last week or so it started growing like crazy! Weird
Newish plant parent here🙋♀️ I recently purchased a Hoya insularis and a Monstera Burle Marks flame. They are both potted in what looks like chunky coco coir to me. I’m not exactly sure if this is ideal for them. One of them was clearly a baby and they started it this way, the other was a larger plant. Trying to figure out if I need to transplant them to a different medium? They’re both doing OK right now but eventually I feel like they’re going to need a different pot situation. I feel like the Monstera needs a better watering set up. It is also in a self watering pot, which I don’t like, but I got it from Lowe’s. It seems to dry up rather quickly right now and the leaves get curled like they don’t have enough water, I have it in an East facing window. Any suggestions appreciated!
Hello everyone I would really like some advice on how to repot my rubber tree it’s to big for its pot and roots are growing out of the drainage hole. And made the dirt into on big ball. Please if you have any tips or what soil I should would be very helpful. 🌱
The new leaf came out, was worried it was just gonna be green cus I don’t know what’s gone in doing! Growth seems to be slow af I’m investing in an actual proper grow light for the plants that are struggling with what I have currently. Send help and enjoy my leaf.
Hello everyone! This is going to sound like a silly question but is this leaf normal? This is my anthurium magnificum and this leaf emerged roughly about 4 weeks ago possibly 5. I am 99% sure I don’t have any pests besides a very small issue with fungus gnats. The plant is under a grow light and sits beside a humidifier which you can slightly see in the photo. There are 3 more new leaves growing that are yet to pop out, it’s just this leaf doesn’t look like the rest and I wonder what I am doing wrong? Any and all advice is welcome and greatly appreciated!
i think my snake plant has a fungal spot? i replanted about two weeks ago, haven’t watered since, just curious what i should do about/with this spot. thanks in advance!

A little behind schedule, but beauty takes time .🌹 Any tips for mums in winter? For context, this was a small potted non-hardy mum gifted to me last valentines 💀. We tried to extend its life and here we are.
My fiddleleaf leaf is doing really well. It’s very new and from a cutting of a mother plant and the shoot is coming out sideways and I’m just wondering if there’s a way to do it to where it grows up or what I should do.
Hi ! I wanna buy some grow lights for my plants, since my appartement does not let a lot of light in, my question is, do I leave them on 24/7 or do I turn them off at some point, if yes, better on at night or during the day ? Thank you so much !
Another Miami plant post because this just blows my mind 💚🥲
I have a 2 different grow lights I ordered coming in, any tips on what plants I should get that require light-moderate care for a sort of beginner?
Would you rather: one $200 rare plant or ten $20 plants? 👀💚
My snake plant finally has some new growth, but I’m afraid the existing leaves may prevent it from growing much higher. Should I repot? This is a self watering pot so I can’t check drainage holes for roots 😞
I recently repotted my collection in better soil. I used the brand Rosy. I'm not sure what I did wrong but it's been a month since then and none of my plants are recovering. Most are dying, have yellowing leaves, or weak stems; and I've never had this happen before. Should I repot them again in different soil?
