Repot or no? Any advice will help new to snake plants. Also do they like plant lights?
Help! How do I know when to repot my propagations? Iâm very new at thisđ
Hi everyone! My ficus elastic tineke is super happy and has probably doubled in size in the last 2 years. That said, one of the branches has always leaned out to one side. This has never been a problem, but I can see it becoming one as time goes by. The plant is also trying to straighten itself at the top. Iâm unsure if itâs one plant or two, and if itâs two plants the roots are probably completely intertwined. What do you think I should do longterm with it? Just provide a support, or should I do some investigative un-potting to see if I can straighten the whole branch/plant? Or maybe thereâs something else?
Help! My plants are looking a little sad:(
Plant friends! A few questions for you! So I just got this app about a few weeks ago and I'm not sure about a few things on it.Maybe someone could help? 1. So I have this brightest sunnies room in the house where I have decided to put most of my plants. Window is facing south.I have a window sill and two shelves on the sides. Now. When measuring light do I point it at the window that is what it asked me to do and have just one site or create the other two sites also for the shelves and do I measure light towards the shelves where the other plants are at not located on the window sill? 2. When asking for size of my plant not the planter do I measure how wide or how tall it is? Thank you everyone! Also when I measure window sometimes it says full sun and sometimes it says part sun part shade....
New leaf!
How do I stop my plantâs leaves from getting stuck in a gap between the drainage pot and the other pot? The leaves end up growing really weird and bent because of it.
I got this Philodendron for free at Home Depot. (If anyone could identify what kind of Philodendron that would be appreciated) I found the whole just sitting on the shelf out of the pot. I asked a worker if I could take it and they said yes! I just wanted to ask if this looks like pest damage before I put it in my room full of plants and expose them. TIA!!! â€ïžđȘŽ
Anyone know what type of cactus this is? It just sprouted up in my yard (only the length of a finger) would love to identify it so I can take care of it properly. The plant identifier claims itâs a Cowâs Tongue prickly pear, but Iâm not sure thatâs correct
I am sick to death over this. My Plant was doing so well when I had it in a spot over my kitchen sink then I moved it into my husbandâs office because I didnât think it were prior as much light but now this is what it looks like despite being back and itâs original position for Weeks, please tell me that I can save it
Should i cut this off cause itâs not growing and maybe itâs taking energy from where it is growing? Advice please. I am been trying to grow this star baby forever now and i need advice???? Please and ty
Hi everyone, I need some advice on how to help my plant recover. Itâs had a rough startâit was very dehydrated and wasnât getting enough water or mist. After some care, I managed to get it back to good health. Unfortunately, one of my cats recently started nibbling on the leaves, and now many leaves are missing. Itâs looking pretty awful again. Iâm wondering what I should do next to help it bounce back. Should I cut the limbs that donât have many leaves on them to encourage new growth, or is there something else I should try? Any tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance! (Also, Iâve tried to block off the shelves the cat was reaching, but for future reference is there anything I can do to keep him away from the plant?)
Hey guys, I bought a few plants the other day and just noticed that the roots are very much coming through the bottom of the plants, I have 2 questions: 1. Is it time to repot or will they be okay? As Iâd rather not repot as I donât have bigger pots rn. 2. Are the roots rotting on the first pic? Theyâre a lot darker and black compared to the others or any other roots Iâve seen but the plant in question looks healthy? (Attached the plant) Tia:)
Soooo I lost a couple plants in the move( money tree is bare/snake plant got shut in a tool box) to Florida and decided to impulse purchase a little 12 pack of minis I think this one has root rot as they r all flimsy and seem odd to all my other roots and the second was broken off is it fixable shoumd I just water
Ok, if I want to snooze today so I can check tomorrow, which one do I use? One says skip 2 days. Whatâs the other one?
About a month ago, I was given a small propagation of a red Anderson. I did as the lady told me to and everything seemed to be fine. About a week ago I went away for a few days, I had moved my red Anderson into my house under a grow light for 12 hours a day. It was extremely dry when I came back and I immediately watered it, and it hasnât dried out since then. Any care info appreciated! Iâm new to propagations!
I am about to repot my lovely asparagus fern and take it out of its pot to find its roots like this. I was shocked! Does this look alright? Iâve shared a photo of the pot itâs going into (larger)
I know they say houseplants donât hate you, youâre just not meeting their standards. But I ordered a 4 pack of Calatheas once and one died almost immediately. Iâm convinced it saw its new surroundings said âabsolutely notâ and checked out.
My props have been rewarding me with babies đ
