I am about to repot my lovely asparagus fern and take it out of its pot to find its roots like this. I was shocked! Does this look alright? I’ve shared a photo of the pot it’s going into (larger)

    Strange my asparagus fern looks more like a Bonsai tree. There must be different species. Those look like tubers that hold water to feed the plant 🙂

      Ohhh interesting! I was watching some YouTube videos and there are several different species. Thanks! I ended up separating a few, hope to see success there.

      How fun! My zz plant has these too. They must really love water!

      They are called ryzomes they store water so ZZs don’t need much
