I started her as a bulb and she shut up very quickly!! She’s now at kind of a stand still, I’m assuming this is normal, I just got used to her growing a half inch every night and now she’s slowed down and is just chilling!! She brings me great joy but Idk if I can say that my singing brings her great joy lol but she never complains!! Feeling berry much so like a proud plant parent!! #plantmommielife💚🌱💚

What’s going on with my monstera!?! Just this one leaf is yellow, but otherwise he’s doing well! Even pushed out two new leaves.
My son picked this out at our local nursery when he was 6 and it grew this much within 2 years and normal care!
Can anyone give me advice on the care of this one? I think it’s called radiator sunrise ?
Thankful Thursday- Every plant teaches us patience and care, which plant are you most thankful for? 💚
Can someone please help me identify these? I got them from a local nursery and some don’t have labels. Thanks for your help!
This is what I use to grow beautiful stinky flowers Red bag on bottoms orange bag on top And I use the green bag for starting each green bag mixed with a lb of worm poo the results speak for themselves
I tried propagating my polka dot in water and both stems curled up
You’ll have to excuse my reference, but does anyone have a clue to what plant this leaf could be from?
Meet: Apollo, my Monstera Adansonii. I hope he survives the cloning - and the kids. We're supposed to be propagating plantlets from cuttings today! I don't believe any of the kids have done it, but I picked an easier plant (Apollo). I'm really excited for today, and so are the kids considering I started the conversation with "have you guys ever cloned a plant before?" I hope this helps them be kinder to creatures because we'll have to be regularly taking care of the cuttings for the plantlets to grow (making sure they're getting the right sun, temperature, changing water regularly etc.). I told them they're going to have to be responsible and kind to Apollo as well as kind to the cuttings because if you hurt them or stop caring for them, they can't grow. I told them "it's like a pet, but they don't poop in the house" lmao P.S. he's called that because he's holey
Look at the tent getting full again😅… Can you guess each plant on each shelf? ( Left - Right)
Help! I was recently gifted a heart fern for Valentine’s Day. When I got the plant, it was so full. I left work on Friday and it looked fine, but when I came back on Tuesday it had shriveled. I think there was too much light and not enough humidity in my office. Most of the leaves have shriveled and died. My three remaining leaves are starting to shrivel at the edges. What can I do to bring it back or help it grow again? Or will my plant ever grow back to how it was? I added a photo of what it looked like when I brought it home from my office.
Hi! Question: Has anyone else tried propping a monstera albo on a moss pole? My plan is to make cuttings along each node but keep it on the pole still as each growth point activates and creates new growth. Is this possible? Or would it just be quicker to remove it from the pole and put them separately?
Wishful Wednesday- What is your number one wish list plant, the one you dream of adding to your collection? 💚
I had to chop this dragon tree a few weeks ago, is the new growth at the bottom of the trunk going to be aerial roots or leaves?
Any plants you regret getting? I have quite a few, but #1 has to be pilea peperomiodes. I do like it no doubt, not my favorite to grow though.
So here is my money tree that I’m trying to keep alive I’ve cut back the top and pruned it and getting some new shoots but this one brown branch is kinda soft, I’m wondering if it’s supposed to be soft and wrinkled Thank you for the advice ❤️
Planta tells me to fertilize. Thought you weren't supposed to in winter.
My mom shared this poem with me written by my great great aunt; a love of plants and flowers runs in the family 💚 To a Maidenhair Fern Far from the drip, drip of spring water Seeping into the mat of leaf mold about your feet, Do you resent the lapse of years Since you green in lush mosaic Against the cold grey stones of old St. Augustine? I found you there, my maidenhair, at Fort Marian I love you; brought you captive to the North. You grow for me in the light of my bay window Light mellowed by sheer curtains Gives a translucence to your scalloped leaves, which hand on fragile, ebony stems. You live in a (unreadable) I give you cool drinks, you love them. It reminds you of the springs in your early Florida home. You love damp leaf mold too, In which your roots mat and sent up tiny fiddlebows which unfold into tender (unreadable) of green. You love one opal immmoveable So you may spread out your lacy leaves. You resent caresses I know all your eccentrenticies, my maiden-hair, We have been lovers so long You have been with me in happiness; in tears. I have torn and divided you; given you to strangers and friends. But neglected you - never! I would not like life apart from you. W.M. P. ‘50
Update, they're alive and it appears the pests are gone after treatment.
