My Maranta is struggling. I do everything the app instructs me to do and she’s near a window so she gets enough light. She has well draining soil. What else should I try? What kind of fertilizer do you use?
She’s stressing me out again… I think I’m going to put her on my balcony. I watered her yesterday and she’s still like this…
Can anyone confirm that this is a snake plant? Plants is giving mixed ID, as either a snake plant or a type of Hoya. The leaves do feel a bit thick and waxy so maybe it is a Hoya? I ordered a pet friendly mystery box and this is what I received. If it is a snake plant then it is toxic. I reached out to the company but haven’t yet received a reply. I have a puppy who puts EVERYTHING in his mouth so I need to be extra vigilant. ETA: I took all the helpful information from everyone and searched their website and now I do think it is a Hoya. I will keep it in the garage away from Samwise Potato until the confirm but I’m a bit relieved that it will probably be OK. This will be my first Hoya so I will be super excited to have one!
I found this at a local nursery. I asked what it was and the lady said she calls it a pine one plant. She said they have only ever had this one and nobody has wanted it. Of course I took it home. Anyone have any advice about it or know the actual name.
I recently found this raven ZZ at a local nursery that was both healthy and under $30 (!!!) Naturally, it came home with me. She’s still in her nursery pot (photo 1), but I found a cute cover pot for it (photo 2). I watered her today as she was dry all the way to the bottom of the pot; and cleaned her very dusty leaves. I’ve placed her about 6’ - 8’ away from a south facing window. Does anyone have any tips for keeping a ZZ happy? Does lighting affect that beautiful black color (Google couldn’t give me a straight answer)?
So I have a beautiful sunflower growing, but I’m getting a lot of weird bugs like rips and this little weird green thing can someone help me diagnose this?
Hey everyone! I left for a week and I’m not sure if my plants survived! They are indoor plants on a grow shelf, got I think 12 hours of growlight. What signs should I look for?
We’re so happy that we’re flowering! ☺️
My sunflowers are sprouting 🥰🌻
Could anyone bring me some guidance about if I need to propagate this plant or what I need to do with this large leaf on top? If anything that is.
Good evening everyone! I am new to gardening and taking care of plants and I am wanting to know how I can propagate my coleus!?
Here is and update on how they are doing after 2 week. They have been growing great and I've watered them once since I planted them. I love these little guys
It looks like my cilantro/coriander is already starting to bolt and it’s a very small plant. Any advice on how to handle this?
Does anyone know how long you can use the same water for soaking air plants? It’s distilled water and I hate to pack it home and then there’s the bottle… This looks kind of silly but it just came together and I’m keeping it because it’s going to be practical I hope. Soaking bowl below. I was afraid it would get dusty so I put the red bowl on top and that made a spot for the plant. I might paint the bowl. It’s looking a bit like Christmas.
Look how cute. his name is sprout!
