Anyone ever experience a heart leaf philodendron “Brasil” just get a pink variegation? It’s been stable for the last few shoots.. Could it also just be the skylight giving it sun stress? Whatever it may be I’m loving it!

Hiii! I just repotted my newly delivered Philodendron Glorious. I have you watched a lot of videos where they thrive in moss pole, (which I haven’t had experienced with.) I just wanted to ask to those moss pole pros if a 7 diameter moss pole is enough or too much for this little plant? Thank you! 🌱

Hello all, I received a cutting of this plant a few months ago at a plant swap and just discovered that it is likely Crassula helmsii, or swamp stonecrop. It is extremely invasive in several countries. The selling this plant is banned in the UK and it is on 11 country’s Global Register of Introduced and Invasive Species. Although it is not currently an invasive species in my state or city, the previous information makes me nervous. I wouldn’t want to start anything bad if it were to somehow spread outside of its pot. Would it be irresponsible to keep this plant? Should I notify the plant swap? Any information or advice is greatly appreciated.

Does anyone know if there’s a way to remove a task from a plant? For example I have Hyacinth bulbs that are in wax and it would tell me to water it. The latest is this. It’s not winter here.

Hey all, I’m pretty new to plants but I wanted to show off the little guys I grabbed the other day and introduce them! (Sorry it’s a long one) Haworthia - Spike is an a**hole. Actually refuses to turn brown, let alone die. Ended up stabbing me 5 times in the first few hours. Identifies as a cactus. Echeveria - Tina (yes she’s named after the borderlands character) is small but mighty. She’s had a time of it. She was in with a few other succulents when I got her and was NOT lookin too hot. She’s doing a little better but still recovering. She resilient though. Polka dot plant - Pinky is still a mystery. She’s obviously gorgeous but hasn’t shown very much personality yet. Was very root bound when I got her but she’s repotted and seems to be thriving? Idk, she kinda just chills on her shelf. Rex Begonia - I know I shouldn’t pick favorites… but it’s hard not to when Galina is in the room (named after “Red” Reznikov iykyk). She’s a bad b*tch, VERY dramatic ofc but she’s the center of attention and knows it. She wilts if I breathe wrong though lol. Still trying to find her “sweet spot” in my house bc I don’t have a ton of window options and she HATES the grow light and she’s still pretty sick from when I bought her. If you have any tips or recommendations or comments on these guys feel free to share. I’ve done a lot of research but tips from other plant parents is always helpful. Thanks for coming to my TedTalk.

Has anyone ever tried these stakes? They are supposed to bring oxygen down to the roots of the plants. I just got them and am wondering what people think? And are there any dos and don’t with using them. Thanks!

Found mealybugs on my jades. Cleaned, alcohol swabbed, sprayed with insecticide soap. Do you usually repot, or just keep treating?

Hey everyone so I got this beautiful little girl from Lowe’s for 3$ ! She was originally 15$ but the lady was nice at the counter and hit the tag switch-a-roo herself 😂😂. I do see leaves on bottom that aren’t healthy what’s the best way to get rid of those , trim or let it fall off ?

Bushsteak Tomato, Jalapeño, Ever bearing strawberry, and in the back I have marigolds, dahlias, dill, and Mint And I’ve just begun cantaloupe, lettuce, (another Roma tomato cause all of my first ones died), cayenne Pepper, and Nasturtiums. The garden this year is gonna be popping with color! My first steps to the homestead I’m working towards! Any suggestions and gardening tips in the comments is always appreciated! Also let me know what you guys are growing this year!

Is my bamboo plant getting scorched? The app says too much watering but I’m wondering if it’s getting too much direct sun. Backstory: we moved from a desert area to a mountain area in November and the only plant that hasn’t taken the move well is Bambi. All of my plants are on a window sill in the basement so most of the day it gets indirect light but for a few hours it does get direct light. Ever since the move all the new growth has come in discolored and the tips have started to go crispy. Any advice? I’d really hate to loose this plant, it was a grievance gift after my dad passed.
