Just wondering what you guys did with your trailing/vining plants when they are getting to be too long for your space? I would feel bad throwing the vines away so I was just wondering if you guys had any ideas 💡 🌿

I like to propagate my cuttings and add them back to the original plant once they get roots.

좋아요 1개Feeling bad about throwing them out is why i have 5 full pots of purple heart spiderwort🫣 and 4 more propagations going😬😒🙄😆😆
좋아요 1개Yep I have a few propagation plants already too which is why I needed another method🤣
좋아요 1개I propagate and then plant them and usually give them away as gifts lol
좋아요 1개This would be cute too especially with spring coming!
좋아요 1개Yeah! People honestly appreciate it because it’s thoughtful haha know you grew something for them and didn’t just buy it (not that that is bad lol)
0개 좋아요I propagate and make a new plant or I take the trailing stem and loop it around the top soil so the nodes take root, then it gets fuller at the base which I like. I temporarily pin it to keep it in place and/or add a bit of soil if needed.
